I just filled out my last invoice for FINIAN'S RAINBOW. I may have other fixes after previews are underway, but that's it for now!

DR Laura have you tried a laser pointer to see if the kitties follow it?

DR Jennifer I hope you enjoy FastForward as much as we have.   Currently it might be Keith’s favorite show.

I have a hard time usually getting into new shows. That is why i waited so long to watch THE GOOD WIFE. I will definitely watch FLASHFORWARD, just not sure when.

Tonight i want to watch the VAMPIRE DIARIES. And i still want to watch DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, BROTHERS & SISTERS, and last week's PRIVATE PRACTICE and GOSSIP GIRL first. So i probably won't get to it till later in the week!

Yes, except that my DVR can build up quite a few shows to watch and can run out of room.  That's not good.

Back from La-La-Land. Muchas Gracias, Senor BK for dinner last night.  It was delish and most sinful at the same time -- too much food. I'm still stuffed today...

The series premiere of the Alex O'Laughlin medical drama THREE RIVERS is tonight. I'll bet it'll get delayed from its 9 p.m. start time by a baseball runover, but I'll try to record it nevertheless. Shouldn't be a problem since I have dropped DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES from my viewing schedule.

I was curious about THREE RIVERS until I saw the strange tv  commercial for the show which was interspersed with a rock band and a keyboard player banging away between scenes from the show. My initial reaction of what the hell quickly turned to intense loathing.

I'm curious too (I loved Alex O' in Moonlight) -- as I was driving back from LA a commercial came on the radio for it, and boy did the lines/sound bites sound melodramatic (dare I say soap opera-ish ...) at times some of his words in his dialogue even sounded like the movie trailer guy ... maybe it will play better with visuals ...

When I went back down and into the theater room, I finished watching CINDERELLA. I remember some people having absolute fits that Cinderella's wedding dress was light gray rather than snow white (another film entirely!), but otherwise, I think the film looks magnificent on DVD using upconversion technology. I cannot imagine how much better it could look in high def. But I'll be eager to see it whenever it comes around on DIsney's Blu-ray slate. Not for two or three years I'm sure.

I then began watching shows on the DVR to get it as cleared off as possible. I began with MEDIUM. I see what some folks were saying about the possession of Ariel. I don't understand why Allison holding her daughter caused such a malevolent spirit to leave her. We either needed more explanation, or they needed a better ending.

Up until then, it was really a good episode though derivative of previous MEDIUM episodes when Allison's been possessed by some ghost or she swaps personalities with someone else.

Next came GHOST WHISPERER. Wasn't greatly taken with this episode either. Couldn't understand the spirit blaming Melinda. That seemed like a far leap in logic. But the end was pretty touching.

LAW & ORDER had a good one, though. A master manipulator running lots of guys around in circles. Very intriguing seeing where it was going.

Then I watched tonight's DEXTER. A really excellent episode with some heart-stopping suspense and anticipation for Dex. Just the way we like it! Wonderful show!

Watching Mad Men.  Prior to that I decided to start figuring out the cues for movie number two on the Holy Grail release.  Taking much longer than movie one because some of it is out of order and some has been futzed with in the way it's used in the film.  I'm about an hour in on this two hour film.  There are a few source cues I'll use in the score where they occur, but I'm moving the others as bonus tracks because they really interrupt the flow of things.  Plus there are the damaged cues, two of which weren't important at all and one of which I'll use because the damage is only in the first fifteen seconds.

So far, not a stellar episode of Mad Men - more of a time passer, really, with almost none of it taking place at Sterling Cooper.
