Do you know that one of the deleted songs from Lady & The Tramp, penned by Peggy Lee, is

"Old Druxy Is My Friend" ?

(It actually is "Old Trusty Is My Friend"  ;), but I like my "version" better!)

What is this s**t with "old Druxy"?

The guy at my mailbox place calls me "old Druxy".

Are you two in cahoots, or something?

 >:(

I have to tell you that I AM the guy at your mailbox!  ;D

It's an affectionate "old"!

(Gosh, with age, some people can get cranky!  ;))

Our current host is now trying to get me to stay and says we have plenty of room and no problems for the foreseeable future - a different story than I got two weeks ago.  They're also finished doing their server upgrades so we'll have no down time like there's been over the last few weeks.

Propaganda!

Just got a funny email from Jason Graae; he congratulated me for getting FINIAN'S RAINBOW and ended with "get me an audition for that leprechaun." He says we'll be working together soon. Hmmmmm . . .

Better get started on arranging "Laura."  I'm sure he'll want to include it on his new album.

Last week I needed a FedEx delivery by a certain date and it arrived on time.  Today we received a delivery from our favorite delivery guy, the DB of DR MBarnum.  He gave Sherlock a cookie.

DR Laura.  How are the kittens doing?  Have I missed any photos or videos?  I did see you found some fall color :)  Have you been to Slot Canyons outside of Page and kind of near Lake Powell?

We were in eastern Arizona and a little bit north of Phoenix for the fall colors.

I do need to get in there and get some photos. The kittens are very cute now.

Because of all my ranting about opening night party passes and all my "I'm off to the St James" posts, I do believe.  I thought it was very kind of you, DR JRand59!

I have never been that near Jane Powell, but saw her on stage in Montreal (1976, I believe!)  ;)

I had the most relaxing, leisurely evening of viewing tonight. I got a bunch of things watched on the DVR even though more stuff is being loaded on there as I type.

I began by watching last week's PSYCH. A somewhat different episode, and the change of pace was good. Writing wasn't as strong as in some previous episodes, but it was still an enjoyable episode and gave Corbin Bernsen more to do this week.

Then I watched last week's episode of MONK. The birthday party stuff was pretty tedious, but the basic mystery, while not having very many suspects, was OK.

Next I finished a gay film that I recorded off Logo weeks ago - A FOUR LETTER WORD. Not real great. Jesse Archer and Charlie David were the two top-billed actors, both very attractive, but the story wasn't much, and the direction was VERY flat. Of course, the movie was obviously made for $1.65.

Friends of ours had planned to visit us and went to the Grand Canyon & Slot Canyon instead.  She had never been to the Grand Canyon & both of them had never been to the beautiful Slot Canyon.  As much as we missed having them visit we agreed with their decision since they have been here many times.
