Next, I watched last night's FLASHFORWARD episode.

The senator who was braying and grandstanding made me sick. I know it was supposed to be manipulative, but it irritated me nonetheless. The lesbian stuff came out of nowhere and that appears to be where it's going, too. Now, who sent those assassins? Questions, questions....

I ended the evening watching tonight's GHOST WHISPERER. Nice to see Chad Lowe and Thea Gill in guest roles. The ghost story wasn't nearly affecting as some previous ones have been.

I have seen that photo, but I thought that was Antelope Canyon. I've never been there, so I'm not sure.

I googled Antelope Canyon and it is the same as the Slots.

I haven't looked at the photos yet. My guess they are just ok. I will try and get some time on Keith's computer tomorrow. He added some upgrades on it this afternoon, after he came in from clearing leaves all day & mowing the lawn.

Work session is over. So far I've had a turkey sandwich with mutant cheese, and fries, plus a pack of Fruity Snacks. I did not run today - with all the crap that happened I never had time to even think about it - and so if I eat something else it will have to be smallish. I'll probably trek over to Gelson's now.

Moving Kritzerland to our new server is going to take longer than anticipated because the fellow who took the order did something incorrectly, and it's been fixed but could take up to eight hours to implement itself. Once that happens it should be fairly smooth, but I've asked my guy to call the host and make sure that whatever downtime there is when doing the actual server switch be kept to the bare minimum - like no downtime at all.

I guess I'll work on the DVD version of WINGS OF DESIRE tomorrow. I'm expecting an afternoon of phone calls, so I'll likely do some of the bonus features first and then watch the movie in the evening. It's a little less than two hours (I think), so if I somehow had the time tomorrow morning, I guess I could watch it then. We'll see how my time falls tomorrow.

It reminds me a bit of BURN NOTICE and I'm not sure why, but the cast is good, it's romantic and funny, the caper was interesting and it hooked me. Can't wait for next week.

Thank You, DR JRand. Alas, with the way the current season seems to be shaping up - with both currently running and soon-to-be-opening shows - my work prospects for the "Great White Way" are looking, well, "not so good". It's a very strange work climate here in NYC right now for everyone in "The Biz". The "trickle down" is hitting us now. Even the standard audition cycle has changed. Companies are casting their shows - with usually smaller casts - either much earlier than normal, or closer to the first day of rehearsal. I still get one or two calls each week from some of my fellow pianists asking if I have any "extra" work to pass on to them. Well... If they're not working, then I'm not working. So...

I've actually been thinking of getting back into "Classical Mode" again lately - not exclusively, but alongside my theatrical work. Music is music, to me at least. And, practically speaking, any income at this point and/in time, is, well, income. And, to be totally honest and forthcoming, the possibility of moving back to Richmond or DC for a few months just to get things back on track (in many ways) is more than a possibility.

It finally stopped raining here, at least for a day or two when it will start up again. Had a good time at an artist friend's open house tonight. Tomorrow is Art Walk. there are something like 24 artists showing their work in different locations and you can walk from one to another. They also have a trolley you can ride from place to place. I'll probably go to part of it.

There is a painting I really like, but am not sure where it would work. So, my friend gave me first right of refusal. So if someone else wants to buy it, he'll call me and let me know so I can go ahead and get it if I really want it. It's a very bold design, but I really like it. Now I just have to find a place for it

bk - Did you send them in a FedEx Letter Envelope? or in a box? The packaging does make a difference. A stupid one, but one nonetheless. However...

Sending something on a Friday for a Monday delivery should have been sent and billed at their 2-day rate, not the overnight rate. If you have your tracking number, I'd call FedEx - once you've calmed down - and make sure the clerk rang you up properly. You may have a refund coming your way.
