I'm surprised no one has posted anything of this little thing today.  Whether we like him or not, we shouldn't want anything bad to happen to anyone.

I read a little joke about him yesterday and thought, oh no something bad is going to happen now. :-\  I admit I did chuckle at the joke.  The very good news is he is in the early stages and should be fine with treatment.

Yes, who was it that told that joke here yesterday?

NOW you tell me, DR JMK!!

I hope that the new FRANCES feature will focus on her later years rather than making them footnote.

She spent more time in Indianapolis than she spent in Hollywood and New York.

There's a new shop about a block away from me called "Frances," and I think of you everytime I go by it.  It's next to a new candy store, so maybe one of these days I'll walk over and take a peek.

It was another cold cloudy and damp day today.  A cold summer followed by a cold fall.  It will be interesting to see what winter brings.

It didn't rain today, but looked like it could at any minute. This morning, I managed to clearn out the eaves on the garage and as much on the house as I could reach from the garage roof.  Then it was lunch with Paul at Panera and back home for what started to be a lazy afternoon and ended up with a mostly clean garage and  all the outside furniture etc put in the garage for the winter.  Most of my neighbors have already put everything away.  It's just been too lousy to think about being outside.

Excuse me, Cilla, it is none of my business; but I thought you and Paul had a parting of ways?  Am I confusing him with someone else?

No, it's the same Paul.  We're far from the best friends we used to be, but we've had coffee once and lunch once this month. I don't think we'll really start spending a lot of time together, but it's nice to see him again.   I didn't offer to pay for his lunch or the coffee and he didn't ask me to (one of the problems we had in the past).  He bought his own and suggested going to a free lecture later this week, lol.    Neither one of us watch politics on TV anymore, so neither one of us talks about it and it's much better.

I really want to see the lecture, but probably won't go. It's at a local college and I'm pretty scared of picking up H1N1 so I'm avoiding places like that

DN Adam had a rough night of H1N1 last night.  His fever went up to 104.5!  With a cold shower and tylenol they got it down to 100 before he went back to bed. They called emergency and they told him to try that before going in to the hospital. They also told him to expect three spikes in his fever.  This was the second.  The first hit 103.  they are trying to keep him quarantined from Gabe. I really hope that little guy doesn't get it

I did talk to Adam this afternoon. He said he was just starting to get the muscle aches.  He said he initially thought they were making a big deal out of nothing with H1N1 and he laughed about it. He's not laughing anymore.  It's the coughing that's bothering him the most.

I know someone who also complained about the coughing, and that this was the worst flu she ever had and unlike any flu she ever had.  From what she was telling me, and personal experience, I suggested she bruised her ribs from coughing too much.

I've been that sick with the flu more than once.  Maybe it was the H1N1.

How old is Gabe?  I hope he doesn't get it.

Well he was 2 in July, so I guess he's really closer to 2 1/4.   Thanks for the vibes

Sorry to have been so E & T

yesterday was a wonderful day despite  the rain and wind.

The Vixter and I loved Finian's Rainbow and it seemd that the audience around us did as well - no cell phones, whispering or rustling in our corner of the theater and there was  rousing standing ovation at the end

As we were walking through the crowds to meet with Ginny, Richard, Elmore and Chris all the comments I overheard were complimentary -

VIBES for a successful runa dn a lovely new Broadway cast recording

Thanks DR Laura, we all do, too.   I'm taking it really seriously.  I've only been really really sick once when I was living alone and I don't want to go through that again.

I only really know FR from the movie and the OBC recording, which I have heard but do not own.  So I also am wishing DR ELMORE's Broadway show a rousing successful run!

No, he's a write in candidate, but the people who want the laws changed are a little worried that people will write him in instead of voting for someone who can change things

Mr Cheyenne's backstage blog is most entertaining.  I think DR DAW linked to it yesterday, and I think it's on Broadwayworld.com

I did NOT get Bananas and Sex yesterday, perhaps tomorrow.  The USPS strikes again.

I  have been chosen as director of BLITHE SPIRIT for next July - if I am still alive and kicking - life being what it can be.

DR MBARNUM has been MIA all day....

The Vixter bought a Finain's Reainbow T Shirt to wear to school tomorrow. She intends to chide her classmates in her Musical Theatre Class for choosing Bye Bye Birdie over Finian's Rainbow for their class trip
