Distressing ending to TAR.....but it had to be, I guess.

DR CILLA LIZ - is the dog on the ballot?

No, he's a write in candidate, but the people who want the laws changed are a little worried that people will write him in instead of voting for someone who can change things

Oh....you mean like all the OTHER elected officials.

Cheyenne Jackson was  very kind to the Vixter - much kinder than her mother who stupidly stood by with a camera in hand and never thought to use it!!!

We stopped by the Bye Bye Birdie theater before the matinee and the Vixter went in and asked for a Playbill - she was told there were no extras and was turned out into the rain

So it was "Bye Bye Playbill In The Rain"? ...

Another delightful day in Midtown - we had lunch at Junior's at Schubert Alley before the Royal Family matinee.  What a treat to see this chestnut performed so well by such a talented troupe.  After the show we walked over to Rockefeller Center to shop for souvenirs at the NBC store (30 Rock swag for Rob, Vancouver Olympics stuff for me and the girls in the family).  Took a quick break at Starbucks and went to City Center to see Lynn Redgrave's Nightingale.

We stopped at a deli on 7th Ave. to get dinner for tonight and breakfast for tomorrow.  They had beautiful flowers outside and a display of pumpkins on the floor inside.  I cut a corner going toward the cookies and fell into the "pumpkin patch."  I'm fine, but may have a bruise in an unmentionable place from landing on a pumpkin stem.  Hope no one ever has to look at the security video...

I did talk to Adam this afternoon. He said he was just starting to get the muscle aches.  He said he initially thought they were making a big deal out of nothing with H1N1 and he laughed about it. He's not laughing anymore.  It's the coughing that's bothering him the most.

Gosh that sounds terrible. Hope he feels better soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

re: tonight's THE AMAZING RACE

Distressing ending to TAR.....but it had to be, I guess.

I also found it distressing even though i sort of dislike both of the last place teams. I thought the globetrotters were quite mean-spirited. But if i was the blonde girl's boyfriend i would have picked her up and thrown her off that slide. There is no excuse. People have fears, they are scared. But for a million dollars i think she could sit down, shut up and close her eyes. I was furious at her for being so uncompetitive. I'm glad her boyfriend forgave her. But she was being a whiny brat. I also thought she would do it. I mean there were others on the race who were afraid of heights and water. But really that girl did not belong in the competition. She was so bad at everything. And just sat there while her boyfriend built the glass things. Oy!

Sort of disappointing (and bad news), but tonight on the season finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA the host said that Mia Michaels would not be a judge.

They said that she was in a toronto hospital after seriously hurting her back while choreographing a number for the finale.

Sorry! I've used all of my vibes!
But ... who is that Mamma Mia anyway?!

Of course, that could not happen to her if she'd been doing the dishes or the laundry. I believe!

I spent a lot of time with T-Mobile tech people today.  They are very nice and very helpful.  My phone is falling apart & I attempted to reset the info on Bryan's old phone he sent me.  It won't clear and I don't want to use his phone with his contact list.  I also am not ready to purchase a new phone until I find one I like.  We no longer have a real T-Mobile store and the outlets here have a rather limited phone selection, especially in the flip up, which I prefer.  Researching phones online is truly a pain.  I want one that is easy to see and has excellent sound.

Thanks DR Laura, we all do, too.   I'm taking it really seriously.  I've only been really really sick once when I was living alone and I don't want to go through that again.

You are soooooo lucky!  I've been really sick lots of times.  Worst than alone is alone with 2 little children and no family around.

We jumpoed puddles and ran between raindrops to the Marquis Marriot where we had a lovely dessert and lovlier conversation

and where the Vixter was taken by the sight of those futuriustic looking glass elevators zooming up and down over our heads - after we left the group we took a little ride in one- right up to the 45th floor  and then back down to ground level - we waved as we passed theparty still going on around the dessert table but they weren't looking up

Witty repartee?

In England, they like witty reparteas. (I know it's lame! But it's 3:15 am here!)

Mezmerizing eyes ??? That's NOT what Nathan Lane alluded to in that famous video clip!!  :o ;D

Very nice to "see" you too! It's been said before but, on yesterday's pics you looked smashing!
Lost some weight (Stanley?) ? (Don't say! Don't say!)
The Vixter looks so much like you! Lucky she!
