For you Stravinsky fans, there's an incredible new Blu-ray (and probably SD-DVD, too, though I haven't checked) streeting tomorrow. It's a Ballet Russes recreation of the original Diaghelev/Nijinsky versions of Firebird and Rite of Spring. It's astoundingly good and pretty wonderful to see. Unfortunately, they don't have anyone standing in the wings screaming out the count (a little joke for the cognoscenti).
