The above is, of course, a rhetorical post.

Wow.....for having such a fine cast..... Leslie Caron, Warren Beatty, Hermione Gingold, Gladys Cooper, and to a lesser extent Bob Cummings..... PROMISE HER ANYTHING has a nice title tune and not much else to recommend it.

CD vibes for MR BK.

Is the CD from the other company that we are waiting for soon to be released?

I still don't have BANANAS/SEX....mostly perplexing.....but I am sure it will show up.

Have any of the other "gifted" (the term in the email, not mine) people on the site received the invitation to move to Branson and take part in the new Christian music show that's starting this fall?  They're supposedly guaranteeing 50K minimum annual salaries.

I actually know the people who are putting that show together. The salary is guaranteed. However, a chunk of that salary would end up going toward rent since housing is not included in the package.

Rudolf Nureyev and Leslie Caron will be in VALENTINO a bit later on this evening on TCM.  I have the video, but haven't really seen the movie since its release many years ago.

I may see if I can make it to the ending.

I am evidently SKYPE-ing with the L.A. producer on Wednesday.  It sounds a bit unseemly, if you ask me.

How are the sick ones today, Cillaliz?

I've been IMing with SunDee. Adam is getting better, but coughing a lot, Gabe has a fever and she is starting to cough, but all are doing ok

My sister is much better.   It seems to run its course in about 6 days

The zit candy was just gross.

I just read this story... And, yes, it made me cry... But in a good way...

For those DRs who have already seen Finian's Rainbow, well...

From No Home to Back Home on Broadway

"A year after being homeless, Terri White is back on Broadway with a showstopper in “Finian’s Rainbow.”"

Jrand, if it doesn't show up by Friday we'll send you another.  Funnily, I've had three recent e-mails from people who haven't received their packages - I'm talking about weeks here, and I've asked them to wait another day or two before having me send the replacement and in each case the CD finally showed up the next day.  I don't know what's going on, really.

bk - I know we've mentioned this before, but... If you're still hand-writing out your labels, that increases the chances of a package getting delayed and mis-sent since the USPS uses automatic sorting machines which "read" the labels.  If the scanner can't read the label, it gets "set aside" for hand-sorting.

I know you've been resistant to hooking into the USPS site and pre-printing the labels, but you could just use Word and use the "Labels" feature there - and have the barcodes print out too.

Question about the original soundtrack of "Arthur"   I remember a while back around these parts, bk mentioned that the soundtrack was only available as a Japanese import.  Now, I see it on iTunes. Does anyone know if this complete or just a few tracks.
