Still don't know if I'm seeing Nine at four as to see Nine at four one would have to get there at three to insure a good seat and then again the DGA has been playing this game of making a line, which I will not do at the DGA.

In France, most churches, abbayes and cathedrals remain locked most of the time because of thefts!

I've said it before and i'll say it again; we live in a wonderful world!  :-\

And I'll likely watch FLASHFORWARD while I eat lunch.

I watched it last night.  Good story lines.

I didn't get to it. Some lengthy phone calls prevented me from seeing it at lunch. I should have no trouble getting to it later this evening.

That is what we need - A HHW Cruise.  Perhaps the Mexican Riviera or maybe the Caribbean?

That is actually a great idea. I vote for the Caribbean.

I've been away for 6 hours and we're only on Page 4???

I've been proofing the new printout of the BABES IN TOYLAND full score and my Introductory Report on the edition, and I think we've got a good enough copy to send to our illustrious employer next week after Thanksgiving.

Hello, DR KevinH! What's new today?

I did have time to watch most of 30 ROCK. An average episode at best, but at least there was some gay content this week which added to the interest level. This show is so hit and miss that I welcome anything that holds my attention.

I'm now leaving.  A local community college is putting on "Bent" and a couple people I know are in it.  I'm sure it'll be very interesting. ;)

Have a good day, all!

The weather is very strange today. It's cloudy and humid and in the upper 50s or maybe even 60 degrees.  It feels like it could storm.   I have zero energy to get anything done.

Then I watched A CHRISTMAS TALE. Like many holiday themed films, this one concerns a dysfunctional family where there are hidden feelings, secrets revealed, feelings bared, all over the course of four days (with a coda concerning the mother's health treatment taking place a week later).

Reminded me a bit of THE FAMILY STONE and HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, same kind of dramedy to the piece. I was very disappointed in the character of Sylvia who felt so betrayed by the men in her life, but I say you make your own bed and to blame others for your choices is juvenile. No woner the mother said she didn't like her early in the movie (I kept wondering why she'd feel that way until she began showing her true colors later in the movie.)

The rain arrived here about four hours earlier than it was supposed to. But it was a nice, gentle rain, not a monsoon.

I started on the bonus features. The first is a 66 minute documentary on the selling of a family home which gave the director the idea for A CHRISTMAS TALE (some similar family interactions). I've only gotten 26 minutes in, but there only appears to be one more featurette and a couple of trailers, so I should have no trouble finishing this up today.

For those who were disappointed with this season's PROJECT RUNWAY and hope for better things next time out, you won't have long to wait.

The new season starts January 14th, and it moves back to New York for the upcoming season.

Now, I must hop off-line and get some writing done. Then, it's back downstairs to continue with the bonus features of A CHRISTMAS TALE.

Don't get confused; you are not seeing FOUR at nine!  ;)

Lovely stories from DR TCB.  I guess the upshot would be, it is impossible to date a prince on the Q.T.

DR BEN - the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that Mr Anthony's dream about his uncle indicates a desire to communicate with him even though it seems to be impossible - it is also likely that another relative or close friend will come forward before November 30-Decmeber 1 with a delayed message or memory about said uncle.

Friend in England says come along anyway - it's not too late to visit....she will be waiting for you at the usual spot.

Emails?  What is that?

I don't like emails that have the entire conversation along with them......although I haven't set my Outlook that way.  Perhaps I will do so when I get home.

We had a very busy day today....but then at 5 p.m. - everyone decided that the World of Wisdom no longer exists.

I will be going home in about 20 minutes.....and looking forward to a fine AMAZING RACE episode tonight.  Since I have something to do next Sunday, I am hoping Phil says either:

This is a non-elimination round

OR

You are still racing - keep going.....so that the last leg will be on December 6 and NOT November 29!

Wasn't that an Alfred Hitchcock movie?

It is now 7:19, the football game just gave the two minute warning.....which means another 15 minutes at least.

Sunday evening greetings!  Richard and I had an uneventful trip to Lima and back today for his last Sunday as Deacon Vicar at Holy Nativity Anglican Church.  As of next Sunday, he'll be Vicar, having been ordained priest during the regular service.

Wow, I didn't realize it was considered wrong to disagree with what people complain about here on HHW.

I've removed the offending post as a sign that i intended to start a discussion rather than cast aspersions, but it's been quoted so i guess it remains unless that person removes the quote from me.
