I do not like non-elimination races--not at this late stage of the race, anyhoo. It just seems to be a cheat. But at least now there's a chance--no matter how slight--that the Globtrotters (who I now truly detest) will be bumped out of the final three.
re; the 4 teams that were left before last night's show:
I'm not crazy about them either (non-elims). Although i thought there was a 50-50 chance we'd have one last night. I agree i don't care for the globies. However I think they are much stronger than the miss america couple. I don't really like the couple that was saved. The guy seems nice (the wife seems whiney to me). I just find them not very good. They almost always finish last, even when they start out on even footing. They are not particularly good at physical stuff or mental. So i'm fine to see them go. I would not be happy if they won.
As for the globetrotters, they obviously have a huge physical advantage. And that actually annoys me at times. I really hope we don't have a footrace at the end. That would be so unfair. I feel like that one globetrotter was totally trying to slow the other team down. And it was unfair that he was allowed to go down before the couple since they were both finished. I just find their attitudes (both globetrotters) sort of nasty.
My favorite team is meghan and cheyne (sp?). They seem like a nice couple. And they are good at the race (both physical and mental stuff). I know some might have thought he wasn't that nice last episode. But i didn't mind what he did. He had every right to be upset that the one guy would not go down the ladder. And while i think he could/should have explained that they were taking a taxi (after they said they would work the globbies). I don't think he was required to do so. He maybe just didn't go about exactly right. Although that said, the only reason the couple agreed to work with the globbies was because they knew they were just gonna follow them anyways!
As for the gay brothers, i sort of like them. I don't think it was particularly nice that they stole the Miss America team's taxi. but i don't hate them for it. The taxi driver agreed to do it. And really shouldn't it be the taxi driver who has some sort of loyalty. I mean if you agree to drive someone, then aren't you sort of obligated to do what you said you'd do? Anyhow my bigger problem with the brothers is a) listening to them bicker all the time. And b) they actually aren't that good at the race. I still remember them not even trying that simple math equation and giving their calculator to the poker chicks. And last night they couldn'd do the kayaking. They seem nice enough. And i wouldn't be furious if they won. But they just don't seem that
great.
