Me?  The only thing I have to gripe about right now is the lack of quality dusting products available, so I guess my life isn't bad at all and for that I'm thankful...

About two weeks ago, I started subscribing to the daily Writer's Almanac by Garrison Keillor on iTunes, but there have been no updates since Sunday.  I hope that Mr. Keillor is alright...

Wednesday morning greetings!  Richard and I have some household stuff to do this morning and after the stroke of noon  (the deadline for luncheon reservations for next Tuesday), I have some grantwriter group secretarial work to do.  As soon as that's finished, we're going to Seeger's Meats & Deli to have lunch and pick up our fresh turkey.  We'll also get chopped sirloin patties for tonight's dinner.

Mega healing vibes to dear DR Jane!

The only upside to this development is that DR PennyO will visit us more often to provide updates.  Nice to see your smiling face, DR PennyO!

Good news from BK about the recording prospects and from DR Elmore about the deposit and about the Finian's Rainbow recording!

American Idiot is auditioning today - of course they are.  It makes perfect sense.....the auditions not the idea of the show.

Fresh turkey vibes for DR GINNY.

I have done the banking and shopping I need to do.  Two of my sisters are coming over this evening to watch Miss Doris Day in ON MOONLIGHT BAY and BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON and eat Spam sandwiches to kick off the holiday season.

Good morning!

Gray skies mostly with just a hint of blue here and there. But it's not as cold this morning as earlier this week and not as cold as it's going to be in a couple of days.

I'm taking the day off today and I hope to see lots of fun things including more additional SUPERNATURAL Blu-ray episodes, maybe a movie or two, and, of course, tonight's new episode of GLEE.

This is the last night of November ratings sweeps, so be prepared for some shows to go into reruns (or simply missing from the schedule) starting tomorrow. It won't be all reruns for the rest of the year; shows will air a new episode every now and then, but nothing consistently weekly until 2010.

I see that Pauley Perette guest starred on NCIS: LA last night, so I'll likely watch that before heading out to lunch today with best friend John. Since tomorrow's holiday interrupts the usual lunch with friends, we're going to do lunch today.

Cripes! I just got an email whining about the length of time to release the recording of FINIAN'S RAINBOW as compared to the good old days when big corporations like RCA or Columbia could get them out in a week. Well, given the past two months it's-on-it's-off situation, raising the money to do the recording, and getting a label and producer took its time. Is PS Classics a big multimillion dollar company with the budget and employees to bring this thing out in a week? Oy!

I think it's too bad we lost holiday sales but I hope the album's a big success.

Greetings from Toyland!
