Glad to hear we have so many crackers here - perhaps we should form a club - The Saltines.

I believe the Fellini film did make it to the US (called Voice Of The Moon) and I'm also pretty certain it was on laserdisc and/or DVD.

I don't crack,  I STRETCH. Every morning. Yes, ankle rotations. Neck rotations. Lots of stuff. I'm a big believer in stretching. I also see an osteopath, who does a very gentle form of cracking.

Just had a nice telephonic conversation with our very own Julie - I think she's going to be working on the Nudie Musical staged reading with us - very exciting.

Well, I gues Mother was wrong. (And you didn't go blind, either.)

I think Ginny has been keeping a secret:

READER'S CHOICES

Quote
Dorothy Lane Market is the Readers' Choice Award Winner for Best Gourmet Grocer/Food Hall. Dorothy Lane Market, also known as DLM by its loyal customers, has several well-known gourmet supermarkets in the Dayton, Ohio area that are recognized for great food and service.

And, no secret to Jane:

Quote
Zingerman's Bakehouse is the Readers' Choice Winner in the Best Bread Bakery category. The Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Bakehouse is comprised of a group of 130 dedicated foodies and skilled artisan bakers that use traditional methods to hand make all of their breads and sweets and sell to over 100 wholesale customers in addition to a growing crowd of retail shoppers.

DR der Brucer - I'm a big fan of Dorothy Lane Market.  Surely I've mentioned it here from time to time.  Their newest location, in Springboro, is not too far from our house.

Killer Brownies, anyone?

LOL, DR Jane!  Actually, Killer Brownies are so rich that bite-size is about all I can manage, too.  One of my favorite things to do for a potluck is to get one of each variety, cut them in quarters, and arrange them on a tray.

BK, the one I'm thinking of only published two or three issues before folding.  This would have been when I was a kid in Seattle, so circa early 1970s.

It has gotten progressively colder as the day has continued. I saw one idiot in shorts and a t-shirt at the grocery store, and it was 49.

I didn't watch anything before I headed off to the store. I did surf some message boards for various Blu-ray and TV forums on the downstairs laptop, but then headed out early and got the shopping done while the store was still relatively empty.

When I got in I watched last night's rerun of THE MENTALIST while I ate lunch. This was a good episode where Jane discovers they're being bugged. Paul Michael Glaser was one of the guest stars.

Next I watched last night's SUPERNATURAL rerun (which I had forgotten I had recorded. I have it on "Season Play"). It was a good one where Dean takes Cas to a whorehouse since it may be his last night on Earth. It's also the episode where Sam finds out he's to be Lucifer's vessel on earth during the apocalypse.

Misha Collins as the earthbound angel Castiel does some of his more endearing and effective acting in this episode.

Then I watched another NCIS episode from the first season box set since it was in the player still. It was an episode with Terry O' Quinn as a former commander of Gibbs' back from Iraq with some stolen money and some secrets. How ironic that two of the actors on the episode, Terry and Alan Dale (who was the head of NCIS during the first two seasons) would go on to have major roles on LOST. (Alan Dale plays Charles Widmore.)
