The Finian's Rainbow commercial kind of looks like it's computer generated.....whew.

Sorry for you USPS woes, MR BK.....most distressing.

Finished addressing UPS forms for tomorrow, and am putting together the boxes for the bigger shipments so that everything is ready for when Cason arrives.  I may fill out the bigger customs forms tonight, which will put us ahead of the game, and while I'm putting all the stuff on the loading dock tomorrow (at the USPS), Cason can get in line with the three or four packages I'll have to send global priority.

I think he would have been correct.

Suffering through Kris Allen until we can find out who is leaving on SYTYCD.  I have a feeling that a really poorly choreographed number last night is the culprit for two of those in danger tonight.

Almost time for GLEE!!!!

Busy day.  I'm just dropping in for a few moments to say HI.

If you don't already have it, Borders now has PLANET EARTH (standard and blu-ray) for 50% off - I picked up the blu-ray today.

I was a bookseller again today- it's a great job to have during the holiday season.

A QUESTION FOR BK:
Will there be a blu-ray of THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL?

Very foggy here and eerily atmospheric.

I feel like I should bound about smoking a pipe or something.

Wow - I would have kept the other girl, but I can live with the guy who left on SYTYCD....although both of those who left were terrific!

Almost time for GLEE!!!!

I have to record it.  Tonight, I'm going to see a local production of Plaid Tidings.  They were supposed to Annie in this time slot, but the rights got pulled because of a major tour that's coming too close to the area.  They had actually been rehearsing for a couple of weeks when they were told to stop!

Since Plaid Tidings only has four people in the cast, I guess it was an easy show to try and put together quickly.  They're going to do Annie in the spring, instead of Into the Woods.  I'd rather see Into the Woods, but I would assume that since they'd started rehearsal...and started paying the actors...that they would honor the contracts, just later in the season.  That sucks losing out on a paid gig at this time of the year. :-\

Unless Mr. Haggard gives me the CRI, no, no Blu-Ray of Nudie.  I won't do it off the DVD master - that said, I do have a newer print and if that went through some scratch removal (they're very light), it has pretty decent color that I can fix in the telecine room, and that might be good enough.  I was supposed to buy the CRI about a year after the DVD came out and I was trying to get the money together when Haggard got it.  He isn't talking to me because apparently he was offended by something in the documentary.  Too bad.

Still, I may talk to Image Entertainment and see what they think of the print I have.

BK, have you ever thought about re-releasing the CD on its own?  Would that be possible or just too expensive or do you have any interest?

It all depends on how you define the word "lady."

ASK BK

Another film related question

Are there really film collectors who really have copies of "lost films" or uncut versions like Garland's A Star Is Born?

I know this was the basis for your last book, but do they exist still after all these years?

I had a very busy evening trying to finish everything to be back on the schedule I had set for myself for getting through this huge box set of films.

I began by finishing the boinus features for YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. I found it very funny that one of the bonus features done for Blu-ray was filled with comments from Mel Brooks. An older documentary on the making of the film had many important people talking about its production EXCEPT Mel Brooks.
