Well, they cut a lot of Kern and replaced it with other songs by other writers. Still, it's easy to see why she captivated people even with a very mediocre singing voice. She's just effervescecnt when she dances.

My college dorm neighbors woke me up again at 3:30AM this morning. And of course I had to send a strong email to the management company before I left for work. Their reply was that a lawyer was sending the college dorm neighbors a letter of complaint. Would it not have been easier to just tell them to comply with their lease agreement.

I'm done with the stupidity of this whole thing. I should have done what the police officier at the station told me to do, just move. But no I had to have a big mouth and open it. I have a bad feeling.

I probably will not post for a couple of days. Till the weekend anyway. Later

Good Evening!

Well... Shortly after I posted my previous post, I guess I must have passed out, fell asleep. And then I got a phone call which woke me up. Then I fell asleep again. Then I sort of woke up. Sort of. I managed to catch some of the "Top Chef: Las Vegas - Reunion" show, as well as the final decision on "So You Think You Can Dance?".

And, now... Well... I'm still really feeling very sleepy, so...

Woo Hoo it just hit 20 degrees. The warmest in days....we're having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave. I may be able to walk without my face covered with a scarf....which reminds me. as I was walking in the ice cold with my entire boday covered except a narrow area around my eyes, I thought parka/burqua potato/potahto

Better go,. I need to read police reports from a gang beating of a rival. Word to the wise, don't brag about criminal exploits on Myspace....one subpoena gets everything you've written....another word to the wise, deleting after they get a subpoena is really a waste of time

The new gal assistant, who is actually the daughter of two of my favorite booksellers, Patty and Craig Graham, they of Vagabond Books, turned out to be fantastic, and I intend to use her every time I need extra help. So focused and conscientious, and a real problem-solver. Very happy indeed.
