I had an insane day.  I thought to myself "Self, don't write that brief on the weekend, you have all day Monday to do it"  HA!  today was sheer insanity.  I did get the brief done about 5:30 PM, but by that time I was a grump.

We're going to to have a blizz on wednesday, the day I wanted to travel home, so instead of chancing being stranded, i was able to reschedule my Wednesday AM hearing and will leave tomorrow afternoon.  It's not going to be awful tomorrow, but not good.  We may get a foot of snow on Wed and Thurs.   The cat sitter should be able to get here, but I'll put out extra dry food for the girls just in case she can't get here immiediately

I was invited to a party that started at 6:00 pm.  I was way to grumpy to go then. My mood has improved considerably so I'll go soon. It's not a sit down dinner, so being late isn't a big deal.  I have way too much to do to go, but I'm going to go for a little while.   There will be lots of good food so I can at least catch a bite and say hello.

I have decided I really need to get out of here for a few days.  The stress is starting to get to me, so it's a good thing I'm going a day early.   Everything can wait for a few days.

No, because Rodgers & Hammerstein never included the scene.

SOUTH PACIFIC is indeed truly lovely in Blu Ray - and I am glad I spent the $20.

Here's a photo of last night's performance of the "Appalachian Carols" at Town Hall. The "Love Lives On" quilt in the back is the Chorus' AIDS quilt with 148 stars on it representing deceased chorus members.

148 deceased chorus members.  What a tragedy.

It sounds gastricly unpleasant but speculations are endless.

So, double damn! just when Officer Dunne was telling his side of the shooting on THE CLOSER, Time Warner Cable froze the picture for a moment and whatever had everyone on the case talking about an important statement was completely lost by this pissed off viewer. Is this pixilation and freezing up any better than old cable systems?

i keep craving a gingerbread man cookie, i wonder why ;)  i keep reminding myself how difficult it is to find a tasty one.  i do remember getting some on our ny walking tour that were pretty good.  i believe the bakery was located next door to the brownie place, or was it the same place?

I hate this T-Mobile jingle, "And if you wanna be me, be me"; what the hell has that to do with a phone? Would I give anyone permission to ne me? Maybe if I had a great contract, Brad Pitt played me, and i were paid a million damned dollars. Jeez.

THE CLOSER is realy good tonight. I love this show.

This freezing up of the TV screen is the worst it has been since TV in the 60s.  I am certainly glad that we upgraded our entire broadcasting system.

again the therapist was pleased with the results.  once again he was able to stretch my arm farther than the previous visit.  again i am proud i didn't cry, though that is because my therapist is so good he knows the precise moment to stop.
