Thank you all for the wonderful HHW vibes for Dog Bosco. Sadly, the vet called last night to inform me that his white blood cell count is too high and some other things are off. She thinks that he has a tumor in his spleen and his thyroid is a bit off....so we are going to treat the thyroid situation, and the other situation will just have to play out it's course.

At present Dog Bosco seem to feel and act fine, other then drinking LOTS of water and having an occasional incontinence problem while sleeping. But I can deal with that. the possibility of losing him will be tougher, but that is life and I am grateful for the years that I have had him and for whatever time we have left together.

Mikey! I am so sorry to hear all of this. I wish both you and Bosco the best.

DR Cillaliz - Thank You for the Snow Angel. I would attempt one here in the front yard of my parents' house, but the snow is now covered in a sheet of ice, and no one likes a shattered angel.

I got to the Rockefeller Center post office at 9 and there was literally one person at the counter. I mailed my packages and went up to the plaza to see this year's tree and I had an epiphany: I was looking at all the toy soldiers and angels and other decorations, and while I was watching the skaters, I realized that it took me 30 years but I've pretty much achieved everything I moved to New York for in 1979. I always knew I wanted to live anywhere but Middletown, Ohio, and throughout high school I would drag home photo books of Paris, Rome, New York, London and other places I hoped to visit at some point. While I'm not working in the theatre as much as I like, I have accomplished all of my goals in moving here, except being rich, and it was a nice Christmas present to realize that.

:)

Just remember, there's only ONE thing left to do on your "To-Do" list now.  That's always a good thing.

DR Elmore - we're so happy for you and the Christmas "present" you received at Rockefeller Center today - sometimes the best ones aren't in boxes.

I have not seen the show or heard the score of NINE - I did see 8 1/2 recently and enjoyed it, but I am on the fence about the movie.

Well... Just clear your head before heading to the movie theatre... Pay your $10(?)... And sit back for two hours...

And if you end up not liking it, all you've given up is $10 and two hours.

*And if you don't like it, just think of all the great "comments" you can share with us!

DR Jose - I have never seen Nine on stage, nor listened to the cast recording.  How do you think I'll like the movie?

I think you'll like it.  It's not a bad movie by any means.  Even the NY Times' review isn't that bad.  I do think it runs about 10-15 minutes too long, but you'll definitely be at an advantage coming to it "fresh".  -You won't be sitting there wondering "What happened to this song?" and "Did they cut that verse?" and "Ah, they changed the lyric because...."

*And the cinematography(?) of the Italian coastline is stunning!  -At least it was on the BIG screen at The Ziegeld.

POSSIBLE "NINE" SPOILER AHEAD....

It's very nice that your company found a way to reward their hard working employees with a bonus even in their troubled financial times, DR Ben.

yes, very creative and says they appreciate you.
