Well, I guess that would explain the eyeglasses and waxing treatments for your hands.

The Goldstein Girls at the Candy Store with Sandra.

That is a good premise for a Nickelodeon series - or special.

Or the opening video clip for a story on "Oprah".

DR Ron Pulliam - And just how long did it take to go through your mail once you were reunited with it?  Glad to hear that it finally "reappeared".

DR JOSE that horror movie poster you put up yesterday still makes me scared.....the makeup on the monsters was chilling.

;D

And that was just put together for the AmEx pre-sale announcement.  I can't imagine how scary the real poster is going to be.

;D

Of course, every time I read the word "chilling", all I hear in my head is Bob Gunton on the OCR of Evita...

"This talk of death is chilling."

Or as Larry Fuller would like to say:

"This taco tastes like chili."

;)

DR JOSE did Monkey enjoy the movie at the Byrd?

Monkey did enjoy the movie at The Byrd, although, I think Monkey was more intrigued by the chandeliers,  and the grand piano and harp in the "boxes".

It is 8 degrees.  It is the first Sunday of the month, so there is a board meeting.

It is 40 degrees. I am OFF THE BOARD!  Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

DR Laura - Was your position on the board determined by the current outside temperature?

Yes, and a heat wave would have put her back on the board for another three years.

Let the joyful news be spread.....

....I got my mail...finally.  It was AT the annex all the time.  And I only found out when I intercepted my local carrier as he was leaving my condo complex this morning.

Sigh.

that's great!  i was thinking about you yesterday and wondering if you had spoken with your carrier.

I'm not quite through with it (all those catalogs, you know).  It took some time.  I was very glad it "reappeared" 'cause there was Kritzerland stuff included in it.

Old news:  Baby, it's cold outside.
Dixie Bell and I walked the front yard, well, she ran, I walked quickly to keep up with her.  She did one round through the front, two rounds through the side then ran up the driveway to the back door.  Even a husky knows it's cold outside.
i'm shocked

My favorite King adaptation is also THE DEAD ZONE.

I even liked the TV series for awhile.

On the other hand, I've never liked THE SHINING.

We're back from brunch/buffet at Green Pastures.

We're both totally stuffed.

If you ever come to Austin, you have to have Sunday brunch there.

I also enjoyed the first couple of seasons of THE DEAD ZONE.  In fact, I think I bought them on DVD.

Speaking of Green Pastures, has the film THE GREEN PASTURES ever been released on video or DVD?

Old news:  it's laundry day.

Hey, It's laundry day here too!   I have a ton of it to do.  My dryer vents into my garage, so I don't usually do laundry when it's this cold or when it's snowing etc so I an leave the door open.  It can't wait any longer so I'm doing it anyway
