Sadly, I don't think that my walk around the block will do much about the three pieces of chocolate I consumed this morning.

I will say, not really vis a vis DAW but just generally, everyone really needs to think about what they post--would you say what you post to someone out loud if you were sitting next to them at a partay?  The internet, much like driving a car, gives a false sense of "protection" and a certain "anonymity," and I think it leads to a lot of misunderstandings (as well as dead pedestrians).

I am really confused. Did somebody post something that offended DAW?

And I agree with DR Jrand, most of us are using our real names. So we're not anonymous. And I wouldn't type anything here that i wouldn't say to a person's face.

I am back from a frustrating library search today and I'll try again tomorrow.

I just had a good laugh: the actress playing Blair on ONE LIFE TO LIVE looks very silly trying to be hot while seducing one of the soap's actors.

I put "anonymity" in quotes to denote I was not using the term literally.

We are, I think, down to the homestretch (no pun intended) on our house search.  There are two we are very interested in, including one we saw today that has a killer view and lots of space.  The one today also comes with two (count 'em) HD TV's, including a big projection unit, as well as a pool table.  It does have a rather strange layout in the basement, where they have added a steamroom and tanning bed.

You wouldn't dare say that to me at a partay.   Actually, you probably would.   ;)

I think Riz Ortolani already wrote that.

DR Matthew - Was is it a "raspberry filling" (something jelly-like) or something like a raspberry cream/truffle?

Well, my own research has been completed for the day. I believe. I hope. I'm afraid. -Something like that...

And now I need to get out of my apartment for a while.

I am looking forward to seeing UGLY BETTY tonight. I really hope people watch it.

Btw, has anybody seen the TNT series HAWTHORNE (with jada pinkett smith). I think it was on this summer.

It is starting here tonight and i was wondering if it was supposed to be any good.

A friend of mine really liked this show and hopes that it comes back soon.  I never watched it, so I can't say if it's good or not.

Two people who I would never confuse with each other are Valerie Harper and Tallulah Bankhead, which is why I was so taken aback when I first heard about LOOPED, which is about to open on B'way.  DR Jose says he saw it in a workshop and that Harper does nicely in the role (of which I'm glad since I've always liked her.)  But I have to wonder what led to this casting...

Is Ms. Harper producing/co-producing the production?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It seemed to be a raspberry truffle from a local candy store.  Not a very good one at that.
