I have lots of books at home that I will take to the office. I may box some of them up this weekend. I would have done it sooner, but with the weather, I wasn't about to go in and out of the cold moving them

I went ahead and got another of Chantal Akerman's films watched - JE TU IL ELLE (I, YOU, HE, SHE). Another very unusual movie: 40 minutes of getting over a broken love affair, about 20-25 minutes of hooking up with a married truck driver, and then the rest of the movie (about 20 minutes) of reinvolving herself with a former lesbian lover (with one of the most explicit lesbian love scenes I've ever watched).

The first part was pretty tedious actually (to get over her loss, she eats BAGS of sugar with a spoon). The truck driver was the most interesting segment for me simply because I knew they were strangers, and I was curious how she'd insinuated herself into his life.

So that will leave me with one last Akerman film in the set which I'll watch tomorrow night (it's over two hours long) - LES RENDEZVOUS D'ANNA.

The films are certainly one-of-a-kind, but I kind of look forward to more traditional fare that'll be coming my way next week. Just got the word that the Blu-ray of SURROGATES (with Bruce Willis) was shipped today, so I should get it at some point next week.

Next, I watched an episode of THE MENTALIST from the first season box set. This was the one with the 10 million missing dollars being searched for by a con woman, an ex-wife, a business partner, and others. One of them is also a killer.

Then I watched tonight's GHOST WHISPERER. A pretty convoluted plot this week, but it did involve me. I just wish Jim had more to do in these episodes.

I think I am too tired to watch anything on tv tonight. So GHOST WHISPERER and MEDIUM will have to wait. Although i am looking forward to seeing both.
