Good morning, all! I have another morning with the McGlinnventory and possibly an afternoon at Encores! helping Joshie with the orchestra parts for FANNY, which are in terrible shape. He asked me two days ago if I had any time and I told him I could give him Thursday and Friday. I did not hear from him yesterday, so I'll call him in a bit to see how it's going. If he doesn't need me, I'll go to the NYPL and continue the newspaper research.
TOD: The book, covering 1902-1906, is in the works: director Julian Mitchell, producer Fred Hamiln, and their proposed series of family musicals which began with BABES IN TOYLAND and ended with Fred Hamlin's death from tuberculosis in 1905. The book will conclude with a history of BABES following the close of the 1906 tours: three Broadway revivals, films, and loose adaptations following the expiration of copyright.
