Not much change yet, DR Jane.  I think I'll need more blood thinners in my system before there's much relief.  The pain isn't excruciating - kind of like a muscle cramp that doesn't go away.

Hello, everyone.

Guess who now has Internet access? The hamster team has had a rest and is now back on the treadmill.

I have not caught up on the Notes or posts, but do see that we have many ailing DRs. GOOD HEALTH & RAPID RECOVERY vibes to all DRs!!

I moved on Saturday with the help of DF&H. He managed to fit everything into the two cars. (He has a station wagon.) Today the cable guy came and got me online. The rest of the time I've spent unpacking and doing more shopping. DF&H loaned me a very fancy air mattress, which I've been using as a bed until I can find a real one. I have NO other furniture at the moment. Everything is in storage in Virginia. As I was unpacking this morning I did find some dishes and silverware, which is a help, to be sure. Right now I'm sitting on the floor, using a box of files as a sort of desk. I will be glad to have some furniture soon.

I am one tired puppy. Netflix sent me two delicious-looking DVDs today. I will say good night and dive into a DVD.

Good night!

If DR MBARNUM is correct, Mr Cal Bolder would have been surprised to know that Mr Pernell Roberts was married as well.

For some reason the Canadian channel that shows CHUCK is showing it on Sundays (i guess it's cause they have the BACHELOR on mondays).  So i saw tonight's show already.  No spoilers, but for DR MattH there is a lot of the BuyMore!

Which I very easily and quickly fast forwarded through. Still as stupid as ever.

Yep, I was also very sorry to read about Pernell Roberts. I had a tremendous crush on him as a teenager. By far my favorite of the Cartwright boys.

Pernell Roberts did eventually bounce back with TRAPPER JOHN, M.D., but it seemed to me he had some very lean years between his two hit shows.

My last partner had been married for 20 years and had two children. A marriage doesn't indicate anything except he was married.

I got to watch the premiere of WHITE COLLAR this weekend and really liked it. I love this show!

be prepared to be a little disappointed with the next episode or two.

Sorry i meant i watched the second half premiere (i.e., the same episode you watched last week).  We are now only a few days behind you (we get the new shows on fridays).

I began my evening watching TWILIGHT. I have not read the books, so I only knew the tiniest bit about this series before I watched this tonight. I surprised myself by actually liking it OK. Nothing great, mind you, but it held my interest despite being too long (by about 15 or 20 minutes, I thought).

Know what I liked best? The fact that the high school had a group of nice kids who weren't mean and vicious to a new student and who actually found her worthy as a friend without her having to prove something to them. For movies made today, that is refreshing indeed.
