Perhaps I shall have a cheeseburger to celebrate.

A Bacon Cheeseburger!

Ginny, I'm glad you are more comfortable today. Enjoy the pampering. It won't last long.

Is this the same leg you had it in last time?

Today I went for my checkup and passed my cholesterol test.

Congrats on your low numbers!

I just came in from a brisk walk to the bank and then to get lunch.  It is crisp and cold, but I enjoyed it.  The first real walk I had in a week.

I'm going to miss being in the city once we make the move to Conshohocken.  I've been out there and there's nowhere to go at lunchtime except other office buildings.

DR Jane, I finally watched the first two episodes of HUMAN TARGET.

I didn't love it. But I did find both episodes enjoyable.  I think Mark Valley is fine. Although i'm not sure how much i like him yet. I do love Chi McBride.

I wish that there were more than 3 regulars.  And none of them are women. This seems really weird to me (and not in a good way).

The first two episodes worked partly because the scenarios were interesting. But also i found the 2 women guest stars very good (really loved DEXTER girl).

Oh and i'm gonna record last year's finale of LOST. Even though they are showing a recap show next week before the premiere. I'd like to either watch the finale or at least the end to remind myself. It's been so long, i don't remember a lot of it.

DR Ginny - Do you have to sleep in any special position and/or with extra pillows to control your motion while you sleep?

DR Jose - Extra pillow, yes, but just to elevate my legs a bit, not to restrict my movement.

ginny i'm glad you have found a more comfortable position today.

CONTINUED VIBES!!!

Thank you, DR Jane.  I must say it's more comfortable to eat sitting in a chair than trying to sit up in bed.  Richard just served me a delicious lunch of grilled cheese sandwich, chicken noodle soup, and an apple.

Thanks, DR Laura.  Even though it gets tiring sometimes, I much prefer being the pamperer than the pampered.  Good thing I had nothing on my calendar this week!

Yes, the left.  Last time though, the clot was in my thigh, this time it's in my calf and that seemed to be the determining factor for being treated at home vs. being admitted to the hospital.  Apparently, clots above the knee are considered more of a risk for breaking off and traveling to other parts of your body - lungs, heart, brain.

Congratulations on YOUR test results!

My husband bought me a bicycle. I think it was some kind of subtle hint or something. I think I shall try to see if I remember how to ride one. I hope the neighbors don't laugh.

And now that the Washer/Dryer technician has come and gone - he will come again tomorrow with the replacement part for the motor - I believe I'm going to head out and work on my Vitamin D. -Or something like that.

it is comforting to know this clot isn't as potentially dangerous. it is more difficult to sit still & be pampered when you basically feel fine & up to doing things.  vibes of patience!

ATTN: Members of CLASSMATES -

Unless you want to get stuck with an annual Gold Membership that you don't want, be sure that your renewal status is marked "Manual," NOT "Automatic". I caught/disputed the charge 2 days after it was made, and Classmates would not cancel it.

you already had a gold membership then?  when you signed up for it you should have been told of the automatic renewal to your credit card.

When I signed up, I was in the middle of packing for my move to Austin, so I didn't see that.

All I'm saying is that, if you don't want an automatic renewal, you'd better check your "Manual" option, because there are no refunds.

last night, for the fist time in 2 months i did not get up, or wake up during the night.  yet i woke up exhausted and dragging.  i had a headache, upset stomach & a sore jaw (must have been grinding my teeth).  with the help of coffee ice cream i'm beginning to wake up a little.

as i dragged myself up out of bed this morning to get some tylenol i noticed it was easier getting up, my shoulder wasn't as stiff & i found myself using my arm some.  :D :D

BK, THE MUSIC MAN is not as problematic as some other Warner titles, but it's still noticeable, especially in the early outdoor establishing scenes.  That said, as I mentioned yesterday, though there is a yellowish tinge to quite a bit of it, the other colors pop quite nicely, especially the reds.
