My Uncle Bob, my mother's youngest brother, is in hospital. I suspect that he is dying; he's 80 years old and in terrible shape. I thought he would be dead a year ago at this time but his body was not ready to let go. When I saw him in December 2008, he told me he'd been seeing his late wife and his mother, and I think they've been waiting for him.  When I was born, he and my Uncle Paul were on the Middletown High School football team, and I have very vague memories of beng passed around the team like a football when they hung out at my grandmother's. Bob also dated one of the McGuire Sisters in high school, Phyllis, I think.

He could use some vibes. i'm praying for a quick and peaceful death.

Oh, my, aborigines on ice  :o

I think that was the first time I've ever felt truly uncomfortable watching The Olympics. :-\

I saw a little bit of it earlier :-X, but haven't watched the whole thing yet.  I recorded tonight's Olympics while watching "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters."  I'm watching the Olympics now and have just gotten to the brother and sister Canadian ice dancers who skated to the Johnny Cash song.

They weren't bad, but really liked the Bollywood dance better.
