In the meantime...
I had a great time at "The Daily Show". Ricky Gervais was the guest, and let's just say that the interview took quite an unexpected turn and tone.

It was also their first show back after being off for a week, so the opening ten minutes of show were used to catch up things. Very funny.
*This was my first time attending a taping of "The Daily Show", and even though I had a good time during the show itself, the whole waiting-to-get-into-the-studio process seems like it could be streamlined - or least made more entertaining. The doors open at 5:15. They encourage people to start lining up between 3:30 and 4:30, although, some people clearly started lining up earlier. Well... At 4:30 is when they started distributing the paper tickets and checking people's name off the various lists. -So, if you were toward the back of the line, you weren't ticketed and checked until sometime around 4:45 - the line is supposed to cut off at 4:30. Then the whole process of getting into the studio starts - metal detectors and bag inspections - they actually do a more thorough than the TSA. Then once we were seated, we waited. And waited. There was no definite start given for when the taping would begin, but I guess it began sometime around 6:30 since we were back out on the street at 7:05. Again, I had a good time, and I'm just thankful that the weather earlier today was not that cold, and that nothing was falling from the sky.
