Now, I wear skin-tight pants, but only cause I'm fat.

Thanks, TCB, for the "fair warning".

Hello, everyone.

Like MattH, I too got up early today. I'm expecting an important delivery from UPS and was told it was coming today. However, no call came from UPS and the vendor did not send the tracking number. I suspect I woke up early with the delivery on my mind. I phoned the vendor, only to learn that the delivery is now scheduled for next Wednesday. Sigh. At least I don't have to stick around all day now.

My last official act before leaving for my stress test was to order the CD.

In true HHW fashion! That should please Mr. BK.

I took today off of work, because yesterday I was so angry that I thought I was going to have a stroke.

Are you sure it wasn't your skin-tight pants?

I had a very strange day yesterday. I read a news article that said that the recent Chilean earthquake knocked the Earth off its axis. Oh, it THAT what happened? All I can say was that it was a day filled with weird and stupid things. Today already feels better.

Well, I have been waiting since 8 a.m. for the printer company to send another printer to try out. I think I'll run out to get some lunch.

Had a nice breakfast meeting and then picked up the proofed manuscript.  I'm going through that now to enter the simple changes - anything other than simple I always run by muse Margaret.

Last night we watched "Inglourious Basterds".  We thought the opening scene was perfection.  In contrast we were shaking our heads at the end of the film.

Since today's #1 priority is now kaput, maybe I should get some work done.

Or, perhaps...

How very nice.  You just catapulted me back to 1957, actually, when Welcome Wagon came to our door at 113 Dixie Avenue, Greenville SC.  I was 9 years old and thought it was wonderful that someone would put all this information and samples and coupons together for new people.

Of course, at that time I had no idea this visit was the first and last time I'd ever see these welcoming "neighbors".  Oh, well...my folks both worked -- a latchkey kid was I from ages 9 through 18.

Still...."Welcome Wagon".  What a wonderful revivalist idea.

One of them is a feature film called Fade to White.  It's a sci-fi film told in three separate stories, each in the future, and in three different time frames.  We're mostly through the editing process now, and our composer is now beginning work on the underscoring.  We then have a bunch of work on color correction and other post-editing details.

I had my first conference call using SKYPE today.  I feel so - well -- five years ago!
It's so easy and works so well -- I can't believe I never tried it before.
