WHITE COLLAR will definitely be returning at some point this summer. This was the end of its first season (we get the finale on Tuesday night).

What a horribly frustrating night I've had since I came upstairs. My main computer is on the fritz, so I reviewed THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG on an old laptop, and when I tried to cut and paste the review as I normally do, the word processor went crazy transposing lines and making a total mess of the whole thing. After stuggling with it an hour, I asked an administrator to delete the whole thing, and I'll have to cut and paste to Word which the site seems to handle much more agreeably.

But all that takes time, and I'm just so frustrated now that I don't want to deal with it.

Back to talking about my very fun evening of viewing. I began with the BURN NOTICE season finale. It was a wonderful one with great action and lots of involving character stuff. Garrett Dillahunt always makes a great psycho, and he and Jeffrey Donovan played superbly against one another.

And for the first time since the series started, I really enjoyed Sharon Gless' work this week. FINALLY, Madeline found a backbone and stood her ground with someone other than her children. I loved her give and take with the FBI agent.

I had 75 minutes before the time I wanted to start GHOST WHISPERER, so I pulled SHERLOCK HOLMES IN WASHINGTON off the shelf and watched it. Not one of the great Universal Holmes series, but they're all entertaining and very watchable.

GHOST WHISPERER had an offbeat sort of story tonight and a very surprising ending.

For a little bit, I was wondering if Camryn Manheim was getting ready to leave the show!

MEDIUM had a wonderful episode, too, with a very surprising ending. I was really surprised the writers went there!

I watched that tonight, too. I found it quite interesting. Her mother's family has been in this coountry for a very long time. The Salem stuff was especially interesting to me.

I had to take a stress test about six months ago, but they didn't do the radioactive dye. They just wired me up and stuck me on a treadmill and upped the incline every 90 seconds or so. I actually did quite well for my age. I think I lasted about 18 minutes and was at a very sharp incline when the nurse actually told me they had enough data. But I was very out of breath by the end of it, I will say that.

It is 1:19 a.m., and I have finally put the review of THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG to bed. Oy! The review was ten times tougher to get posted than it was to write or the movie and features to get watched. It has been a frickin' PAIN.

Thankfully, I can move on to the next disc tomorrow. It'll likely be YOJIMBO on Blu-ray.

And I got another Criterion box set in the mail today: LETTERS FROM FOUNTAINHAS. It's three films by Portuguese director Pedro Costat, none of which I've ever heard of much less seen. I haven't checked the release date yet, but I guess it's at the end of the month like everything else.
