I remember a simpler time, when the Oscars really were an event to watch and there was at least a modicum of dignity about them and the pre-show.

Where are the Bob Hopes and Johnny Carsons of today? ? ?

These people doing the interviews (not the celebs) all sound like fifteen-year-old schoolgirls.

If E! were still doing red carpet interviews, I'd go back there. I hate the "official" red carpet show.

As I wrote in today's notes, I was very impressed with District 9, and have been surprised that no one here has commented, which would lead me to believe that no one here has seen it.
