We pack with so little extra room in the suitcase I have to eat most of my treats before we return home.

I can just see Keith force-feeding you Thornton's special toffee.

That's it, I'm being force fed all the junk I eat.  It isn't MY fault ;)

If you look at the list of videos on the right, there's one of Tami Tappan singing Meadowlark.  And then one of Alice Ripley in some production - my question, at what point did my arrangement of this song get put into the show?  When I recorded it (with Susan Egan) on the Schwartz album, no one had done the opening slowly - but I believe it's now in the score that way, and everyone who seems to do it now does our exact opening four bars and speed up exactly where we do.

I know that the 1990 London cast recording started out slow like that.

Yes, the OLC starts slow.

Loved Tami's arrangement.  Great piano and guitar.

Well, I finally got the call and my car is ready!  It looks like the code from the "Service Engine Soon" light was on because of the oil leak that I'd already known about, so they didn't have to do anything else than what I was told yesterday.  So, it should only be around $1,100 or so...only?? ;) Tom, the guy who I've been talking with about my car, said that he was behind on his paperwork, so he couldn't give me the exact amount until I get there.  The shuttle driver just called and will pick me up in about six or seven minutes.

:)

Miss Debbie I had a fine rehearsal this afternoon....smoothed out a few things and finessed here and there.  So here we are one month before the competition and feeling fine.

We found out our order....we are number 10 of 12.....like the Borgs.

My niece Mandy met Corey Haim almost two years ago at some Horror Convention....it was kind of a LOST BOYS reunion.

I like this picture.

Corey on his "reality" show last year talked a lot about his life going wrong when he was "befriended" by a couple of older celebrities....one the King of Pop and the other his co-star in one of his most popular movies....and Corey Feldman agreed saying with the one of the two he had contact with, he had made a different choice.

Sad.  :'(

Nice photo.  His agent thinks he was sick & not an overdose, that he had been good before getting sick.  He was helping to take care of his mother who is battling breast cancer.

Pretty Laura.  I enjoy living were I can drive along the nearby roads & see blue heron, bald eagles, & hawks flying overhead.  It doesn't happen on a daily basis, often they are in the distance sitting in trees & barely visible.  The hawks we see more often as they like the telephone wires.  Capturing then in photos is impossible.

Well, I'm back and my car has air conditioning (which hasn't worked for a couple of years or so) and a new timing belt, water pump, hub cap and oil.  It cost what they said it would...they had to "make it work."  In other words, he didn't tell me over the phone that they had to do some extra stuff, so they gave me about $120 in discounts so that it would match the estimate.  Nice! ;D

Pat Boone is on my PBS station showing lots of clips from his late 50's PAT BOONE CHEVY SHOW.....most entertaining.

I loved Elvis....but I bought just as many Pat Boone records.....and saw all his movies.  He had a really nice voice.....and he was easy on the eyes, too.

And thanks, Jack, Jane and Jose!  Maybe this will get me to think about walking more...and actually walking, but with rehearsals starting next week, I wouldn't be able to walk every day until the show's over in May.  But I certainly can at least walk every once in a while.

Well, I had been...but last year, I bought a new computer and paid my property taxes with my income tax refund and didn't have enough for the car servicing, also. ::)

And the 1990 Vocal Selections reflect the London cast recording.

bk - Can't you just contact Stephen Schwartz directly?
