I don't have much to add to the TOD most of the time, but that doesn't seem to stop me from posting.  I'm just not sure anyone is really interested in most of what I say, lol

I feel the same way most of the time. I post about the things that interest me. Often, they don't seem to interest anyone else. And that's OK. I figure I'll do it until bk tells me to stop.

Very interesting reading some of these posts.  Jane, for example, cites negative posts about former dear readers.  I presume that is directed my way.  But apparently it is somehow okay for those former dear readers to send private e-mails saying the most specious things about me - apparently that's okay.  Not.  Not to this boy.  And please don't tell me they haven't because I will then have to print each and every e-mail that has been sent to me proving they have.  I've got 'em all.  Think I'm making it up?

Jose cites posts about the creators of the long musical.  That is me occasionally venting, and since they are unknown to people on this board, exactly who does it hurt?  Everyone vents including, I hate to say it, Jose.  And believe me, you don't want the creators of the long musical on this board, oh, no, you don't want them on this board.

I'm talking about what you just did, all these negative comments that lurkers will not appreciate.

I don't have a Facebook account and don't plan to get one. I barely have enough time now to visit the sites I go to now. I couldn't possibly add another one.

When I went back down, I watched a couple more CLOSER episodes. One of that was that grandly emotional and nerve-wracking episode when Sanchez's brother gets killed. Raymond Cruz really had a standout performance in that outing, and it brings me to tears every time I watch it. I mean, the whole episode makes me cry, not just the very emotional ending.

I'm off for the night.  Keith is waiting to watch THE LEGEND OF THE SEEKER & LARK RISE TO CANDLEFORD.

My shoulder is also, as it does most nights, telling me I have also typed too much.

Yes, I get constant e-mails about what is going on over at Facebook.  I don't know how to turn them off, and frankly some of the e-mails have questions in them that I would never be aware of, since I don't really visit more than three times a week, except on odd occasions.  One need only look at the frequency of my updates to know that.

You didn't get my point, sometimes lurkers do stay.  Your response was exactly what I think was suggesting not to do.

Then I put in Disney's animated ALICE IN WONDERLAND. I heard that DIsney is bringing out another edition of this film (just on DVD, however; not on Blu-ray. Very stupid of them not to go ahead and do Blu-ray with it). I hadn't watched it in awhile, so I watched it.

Kathryn Beaumont is charming as Alice, but I wonder if Disney even considered the very young Julie Andrews at the time (she would have been around 13 or so). She was already making a name for herself in England when they recorded the audio tracks for ALICE, and she certainly would have sung the songs a BILLION times better than Kathryn's quavery, occasionally off-pitch but earnest renditions of the tunes. I had never even thought about that until rewatching the movie tonight.

I concluded my evening with last night's SUPERNATURAL. It was an emotional episode as well. Castiel wasn't present in this episode, so it doesn't rank as a favorite, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

At least we've generated some posts with feeling.  And that, to me, is a good thing.  In other words, don't direct all this at ME, as if it were all somehow my fault.  Really :)  But, you know what, I will not be making any more posts about the long musical, nor its creators, nor will I make any posts about the staged reading.  That seems to me the easiest thing to do, since those posts seem to bother certain people or our lurkers.  Certainly the one thing I will NOT do is not tell the truth or speak my feelings.  So, the best decision is to say nothing, I think.

I intended to post after the cocktail party last night, but ended up having more wine than I've had in a long time.

Cilla I do want to go out drinking with you again.  I had such a good time that night.

Ah yes, DR Jane and I at the Algonquin!

I want to go drinking at the Algonquin!

We just went out for gelato, even though it's kind of cold for it...

Well... What about the people you cast in the reading of the long musical?  And hired for the demos?  If those people read some of your "venting", do you think that would make them want to be a part of project that has seemingly caused you so much frustration?  Be a part of this board?

I'm not saying that we all have to start censoring ourselves, but since you were asking/looking for potential reasons for a drop in the number of postings, well....

And don't forget:

-Work - Where some DRs are not allowed to post from 9:00-5:00 or 8:00-4:00, etc.
-Doctor's appointments
-Baby-Sitting
-Parent-Sitting
-Pet-Sitting
-Legal Issues
-Job Hunting
-Lack of a house
-Limited internet access
-No laptop
-No iPhone, Blackberry, Smart Phone, etc.
