Good morning, all!

I'm still vague about my plans for the day, but iI have to find a paper cutter and trim these 11x17 photocopies I made at the llibrary; most of the music is  about 10x13 and I need to cut them down before we can rehearse them.

First, coffee, then whatever.

It sounds as if the long musical is coming along nicely without interference from the usual quarters.

I am anxious to hear what the audience response is going to be.

Tonight of course The World Series is on - and opposite that - Cecil B DeMille's THE TEN COMMANDMENTS....so there is something for everyone on television tonight.

And hopefully also COPS!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....TOD....

Probably the best I have looked - total package - would be at a wedding here and there - although the last wedding I attended, I was at my heaviest.....  Heaviest?  I was fat!

I don't remember the worst, but I am sure it was something in the height of fashion that I bought at Kmart when I was first out of high school.

Saturday morning greetings!  The girls are stirring, but I'm guessing the boys are still asleep.  We have a couple of hours before we have to think about leaving for Deshler, OH.

DR Jose - our left front tire is OK, but we're keeping an eye on it because Richard spotted a nail imbedded in it on our way up here Thursday.  He'd had it fixed after the mishap with the curb in Lexington and, so far, no signs of leaking.

To fill in for others, when we were on our way to meet DR Jose for dinner in Lexington last month, Richard tried to take out a curb and bashed the front tire (well, the hubcap, actually) on the driver's side of his car.  We got through the rest of the KY trip, but it needed some major attention when we got home.

I think I will try to finish up some work on the Montgomery & Stone Medley hanging over my head as well. I'll spend tomorrow with THE WIZARD OF OZ. I'm still slogging through Act One of that one.

I just spoke to Joshie, who's got a sitzprobe of ANYONE CAN WHISTLE at noon; I wanted to catch him before rehearsal began, and I thought they were starting at 10. I hope I didn't wake him. Since Encores! is taking a break this summer, due to City Center renovation, I've been concerned about getting him some work on these Victor Herbert manuscripts to get him  over the hump. It sounds as if some other work for MTI is coming through as well, so I think he'll be okay.

Okay. I'm off to Toyland and Montgomery & Stone.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm on a bus. The M5 to be exact.  Heading to brunch, and hoping there won't be too much of a wait for a table. Vibes would most be appreciated. ::)

Not the World Series. Wrong sport. The NCAA Basketball Semifinals are on CBS tonight.

Good morning!

Today was the first morning walk without wearing a sweatshirt in 2010. It was 53 but very pleasant walking. I did still wear sweatpants, but I changed to shorts when I got back in the house. First shorts of 2010.

I'll likely watch PROJECT RUNWAY while I eat lunch today. Most of the day, however, will be given over to continuing with PERRY MASON. I have one more episode on disc two and will then move on to disc three.

I did like the way I looked i my first custom fitted tux when I was nominated for that theater award (1982, I think it was). I have no pictures but I was very pleased with the way I looked.

Can't think of the most ridiculous outfit. Looking back at all those double knit polyester pants of the 1970s with crazy patterns gives me shudders now. Everyone wore them, and they didn't look ridiculous to us then. Now, one wonders what we were thinking.

DUPLICITY comes on HBO-HD tonight, but as I'll be busy with PERRY MASON, I won't see it until tomorrow. Judging on how many episodes I got watched yesterday, I'm thinking I won't get finished with PERRY MASON today and will still have a couple of episodes left to watch tomorrow.

If that's the case, I'll finish them tomorrow afternoon, and spend the remainder of the afternoon catching up on TV from this week I haven't gotten to yet (LAW & ORDER, FLASH FORWARD, SUPERNATURAL, SPARTACUS). I'll watch DUPLICITY and GRAN TORINO tomorrow night so I can clear them from my cache.

I have the window open in my office and have a fan on low also on. Spring/summer is definitely here. I have turned off my heat completely.

Larry, weird you should mention GREENWILLOW.  I was just thinking about that show last night because I've been watching the Warner Archive GREEN MANSIONS, which I've never seen before.  I was wondering if maybe Perkins' singing in that film is what interested the producers in him doing the show.

I have to say Mel Ferrer should have been bitch slapped for making his wife (his DW wife!!) look as hideous as she does in GREEN MANSIONS.  WTF is up with those horrible bangs, which make her look bald on top?

The entire movie of GREEN MANSIONS is a total misfire. It may very well be Audrey's worst movie during her "star years."

I guess I need to think about wrapping things up here for now and heading down to see if I can squeeze in a PERRY MASON episode before I start lunch.
