It is very odd but my neck did not hurt when i went for a bike ride yesterday. And it was a hard ride since it was very windy.

I guess my neck and back are telling me something because they don't hurt when i walk or exercise. But they do hurt when i lie down or sit down!

TOD: This probably isn't exactly what BK meant. But my favorite tv show involving food is Top Chef. I love watching the amazing dishes that are created this week. Hopefully the next season will begin soon!

And a version if you want them baked instead of fried. This one has a teriyaki sauce:

I love the song "Love With all the Trimmings" (frankly, I don't know many Burton Lane melodies I don't love), but I don't remember it in the movie. I wonder if it's on YouTube.

Yes, so the previews for next week made me aware.   At any rate, it was the series finale for me.

In the movie, Streisand sang this one as "Melinda"...while she sings, the story of her love affair unfolds in a montage.

Monday morning greetings!  I had to fast last night for this morning's blood tests, so Richard and I went out to breakfast after my torture at the lab.  He's off helping with a veteran's funeral and I'm making a long grocery list.

TOD - I love the food theme that runs through The Big Chill, from the moment Glenn Close stares into her empty refrigerator right through to the breakfast prep scene at the end.  As in our household, much of the meaningful interaction takes place in the kitchen or around the dining room table.

Yes, DR JOHNG - it was a fun event.

Lovely day weather wise here - and best of all, I don't have anything that I HAVE to do.

I was so caught up in my admiration for Ayaz Khan that I forgot to give my condolences to JMK on the loss of his Aunt Betty.

And...

Due to the late(?) winter and all the rain we had earlier this year, everything is coming into bloom at the same time right now. Lotsa pollen for everyone!  :-\

I am trying to find a good easy recipe for chicken wings.  Right now i'm on allrecipes.com.  Hopefully i will find something good.

Here's the original recipe:

http://www.savorsa.com/2009/09/buffalo-wings-the-original-from-the-anchor-bar/

And a version if you want them baked instead of fried. This one has a teriyaki sauce:

http://www.savorsa.com/2009/09/teriyaki-wings-a-little-gooey-isnt-a-bad-thing/

Thanks.

I don't know that i've ever tried buffalo wings. I have recipes for them. And last time i was making wings i was going to try them. But when i tasted the hot sauce i just hated it. The pictures of all the buffalo wings i've seen look so good. So i'm not sure if i'm making the sauce wrong.

The terriyaki one looks good but i don't have a lot of the ingredients.

I wonder what wings would taste like on the BBQ.
