HERMETICALLY SEALED

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were hermetically sealed and had the seal of approval, and now it is time for you to post until the hermetically sealed cows come home.

George, repeat your Brain report in this new thread.

Here it is...again:

Last night, we had our very first audience...TAO's final dress rehearsal is always a $5 (or more) donation performance and we had about a third of the house filled!  The first act went a little shorter than Wednesday's performance without an audience!  The second act went a little bit longer...people weren't picking up the pace as they had been.  The audience really seemed to enjoy it and there were only a couple of scene change goobers.  Otherwise, we had a pretty good first audience show!

The mark was someone that people knew...he does do theater, but didn't try to play it up.  He was a good sport and it was pretty funny.  The whole scene got some very good laughs. :)

DR George, glad to hear your preview was great.  Our performance of Rent went well on stage after 3 days off.  We. of course, lost about 12 people at the intermission, but I'm reminded that people walked out daily during its run in NYC.

Thanks for the broken limbs, early or not. :D Our official opening night is tonight (Friday).  Last night was our final dress with an invited audience.  My sister and her boyfriend will be there tonight.  I need to talk to my parents about when (or if) they're coming.

Good morning, all! I was up at 7:30 and the laundry was in the laundromat by 8:15. I will spend the better part of the day editign the final OZ number, and figuring out where to have dinner tonight. I'm seeing the Manhattan School of Music production of Mozart's Nozze di Figaro with Chris and I thought we'd have dinner somewhere between 90th and 115th Street. My favorite seafood place, Docks, has closed so I need to do some research this morning.

I need a haircut. Badly.

DR George, how's the band?

DR vixmom, I'm sorry to hear the dnner service was tres lou-say! The vixter deserves the best.

TOD:
DVD: I've got to return these Netflix discs; I will never watch them
CD: lot of McGlinn things to go through
  VCR: thank God for porn!

That reminds me of one of my favorite lines from MAUDE...

Walter was chiding Maude for hiring Mrs. Naugatuck because he thought she wanted to impress their friends with a proper British maid who was all "...Pip! Pip! Cheeri-o! And A YANK IN THE R.A.F."

Maude:  Watch yourself, Walter, or I'll give  you a yank in the R.A.F. you'll never forget."

Good morning!

It was about ten degrees warmer this morning than the previous two mornings. Of course, I don't walk on Friday nor do I workout, preferring to give my body a day of rest. It looks like it's going to be a gorgeous day here.
