One way or another, I'm sure we will get to hear Kristin Chenoweth warble something from the PROMISES, PROMISES revival.  In fact, I'm willing to bet that she somehow gets a nomination (despite being basically ignored by all the other awards thus far.)

Last week on Regis & Kelly's "Broadway Week," for Promises, Promises, she sang "Say a Little Prayer for Me."

So, they're not just interpolating, they're also changing the titles?   ;D

"I Say a Little Prayer"...picky, picky!

;)

....umm, I was talking more about the pronoun at the end.   ;D

D'oh! ::)

Brent from the computer place called about 2 p.m. to tell me there were a couple of more issues he wanted to check out on the VAIO....things must be slow over there ....  but hopefully I will get it back tomorrow without having to pay to much ransom $$$$.

The Story of the Tapes is most entertaining.

And I must concur with DR KEVIN H - no DR of HHW should miss out on the opportunity to meet MR BK - or any other DR - in person....it is always most interesting, entertaining, and memorable.

Well I took it to mean that she sang "Say A Little Prayer" for George!

Well, I'm now leaving work.  I still have some TV catching up to do.  I have last week's "Chuck" to watch before I watch tonight's...as well as several other shows that I hope I get to.  And I have laundry to do.  I need to wash my Brain shirt and socks.  What an exciting night! ;)

Until later!

When I finished my review, I went back down and completed the NCIS episode I had been watching in pieces all day long. So, they finally rescued Ziva, absolutely necessary since she is such a vital member of the team and the ensemble cast of that show.

Then I watched Saturday night's CASTLE rerun. This one had them involved with the S&M crowd with some funny results.

Then I watched last night's episode of THE TUDORS. Another of Catherine's old flames stops by for blackmail and proceeds to make a complete ass of himself. I can't believe he would have been so blatant about it in the presence of so many witnesses. The previews show Catherine's time is up next week.

Tonight's CHUCK had three plots going. Loved the Chuck-Sarah plot. hated the Casey-Morgan plot. I was tiring of the Captain Awesome plot until it turned into something else. That should be interesting to wrap up the season.

And then '24' had another slam-bang effort with high tension and really tense situations. There are SO many hissible villains on the show.

I am supposed to get two review discs this week from Fox: TOOTH FAIRY and ELEKTRA. Of course, they come out tomorrow, so even if they come, one of them will be reviewed after street date.

If Fox is late with the shipping, I'll go ahead and watch the new DVD release from Criterion of John Ford's STAGECOACH. I have the Blu-ray as well, both of which come out on May 25th. As per my custom, I'll do the DVD first.

BK, I do hope that this guy will not cause problems that might keep any future Albert Glasser soundtrack releases from being done by Kritzerland!

46 years ago, when I was seventeen, I saw in the first weekend of September the final summer production at  the old shelterhouse which was the original Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. A week later I was a college freshman. The show was the four-year-old musical THE FANTASTICKS and  I don't think I've ever seen a production of THE FANTASTICKS that moved me as much as that first one because it was so fresh and unique. I had never seen anything like it: it was small and intimate, the cast never left the stage, Luisa at one point sat with the pianist, the cast spoke to, and became involved with, the audience, and the sound of the harp and piano was the most interesting instrumental combination I had ever heard. The show is now fifty years old, and I am seventeen again. The current cast is quite wonderful, and Tom Jones' portrayal of Henry Albertson, which he created, is amazing. The man's 80 if he's a day, and his performance deserves to be seen by everyone. He gets the laughs, and there are some huge ones, and never loses the poignancy of someone out of step with time and refusing to give up. The whole cast is good, but Tom is amazing.

It was a wonderful evening at the theatre; I got to talk to two former Luisas, Rita Gardner and Susan Watson, Richard Roland, Robert Viagas, Peter Filichia, Douglas Colby, Bruce Pomahac, and a lot of others. I'm only sorry that Harvey is not feeling well enough to travel, so he wasn't there physically, but he was certainly present in every bar of that glorious score.

The ass above me just came in and let the door slam not once but twice in his comings and goings. I am really beginning to hate him and I pray for his speedy death. The only thing that could be bad if/when he leaves the building is that the next tenant is even worse.

No, he can't keep me from doing anything, actually.  He has no rights to anything.

Laundry has been washed and dried.  Two episodes of "Chuck," and one episode each of "Castle" and "Private Practice" have been watched and deleted from the DVR.  I'm now going to watch last week's "Grey's Anatomy."
