MBarnum, all books went out the same day.  So, you should have gotten it by now UNLESS you ordered it with Earth vs. the Spider - if you did, it won't be going out until Monday, when that arrives.

The dustjacket is most attractive as is the entire book.  It is a nice size and thickness.

I'm here in Olympia - flight was quick and fun, and hotel is adequate for an evening.  I had to change rooms because the Internet was not working in the other room.  But here, it's working fine.

Welcome to Olympia!

Before I left for my Friday errands, I had time to watch THE BIG GAY SKETCH SHOW. A really funny segment on Tyra Banks' Model show. And Jonny McGovern doing a lounge singer who ada-libs insulting lyrics to paying guests was also funny. The rest, not so much.

I also watched "I've Never Seen Anything Like It" from DOCTOR DOLITTTLE since that was where I was in the film.

When I got in, I watched last night's THE MENTALIST. A complete surprise for me as to the murderer's identity. I thought I had it figured out, but I was wrong. Excellent episode.

Then I began on today's work project: FLASHPOINT, Season Two. The first disc had four episodes, and I watched all of them. Of them, I had seen three when the show was broadcast on CBS, but I had never seen one of them, so that was special fun.

Two of them had me in tears by the end of the show, one of the things I love about how gut-wrenching the emotions are sometimes with this series, especially when the criminals aren't really bad people but get pushed into impossible situations.

I put in the second disc which has the five remaining episodes and three bonus featurettes. Together those bonuses are going to run about 13 minutes, so I know I can get them watched tonight, and we'll see how many other episodes I can get under my belt. If I have a chance of finishing this tonight, I'll record GHOST WHISPERER and just watch MEDIUM.

I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. I knew the fellas weren't going to be on, but they were in the previews for next week, so that's at least something to look forward to.

BK - a question:  When someone orders more than one thing, do you always wait for the second thing to be in stock before you send the first thing, so that you ship only once?

If so, aren't you concerned that once this happens to someone once, this could make that person not order more than one thing at a time - it almost sounds like their "reward" for being a "better" customer and ordering item A and item B together instead of just item A can sometimes be waiting almost a week longer than everyone else for item A?  Or is my logic wrong somewhere?

It's never happened to me, but I'd never order two things together if it meant the first thing would be held until the second thing got there a week later.  Do they save anything by ordering two things?

I'm going to hop off-line and get some writing done, and then I'll head down to continue working on FLASHPOINT and watch some prime time TV.

Question for BK:

Does Joanie, after all these years, still love Chachi?

The time is (almost) nigh.

I remember how excited I was on the Day BK Came to Indiana.....it is very fun.  Of course many of those in the party this evening have met MR BK previously....and have even seen THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X......

AND you get to hang out with Mr David Wechter as well.....

I hope the paparrazi are not too intrusive.  And everyone of course think of some wonderful questions to ask at the talk back!

Back from high tea at Basically British with my friend Sue.  The food was lovely as was the Caramel Cream Rooibos tea that I had with it.  Sue and I had a lot of conversation to catch up on and I was glad to hear about her recent trips to Portland, OR, and NYC.

HAPPY NATAL DAY DR DANISE!

Thank you, TD!   I don't know when I'll make it to Pittsburgh again but while it may not be this year, I'm hoping I can see my way clear to go next year.

! ! ! ! !  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DR DANISE  ! ! ! ! !

Thank you, Dear Dan (the man).  I don't know if I got to tell you that since I am home, I hung the star map in Mom's room.  I still want to go to MOSI and ask if they can show Mom's star to me some night.
