I have some things to finish up on the computer, and then I'll be heading downstairs to start with today's viewing.

Looks like another cooler day today. I will probably putter around the yard again today. Sigh.

WOW - DR MATTH i would love to see THE CHAPMAN REPORT again....Jane Fonda, Shelley Winters, Glynis Johns, Claire Bloom......

Points for having Dr Efrem Zimbalist Jr telling Jane Fonda that she's frigid.....and Glynis Johns reciting "Cynara" to Ty Hardin.

Tonight has NCIS, GLEE, LOST, and, of course, IDOL. They're singing songs from the movies tonight, and with only four contestants left, each one is singing two songs.

Which means of course they will go past 9pm!

And there is also the results for DWTS and one of my favorite shows THE GOOD WIFE!

DR George thanks for posting that link to the tv finales. I had seen one but not by date (by network).

It is odd to me that so many shows are running their finales against each other.

We have the SURVIVOR finale vs the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES finale.

The LOST finale vs the CELEB APPRENTICE finale.

The CHUCK finale vs the DWTS finale.

And the craziest to me is the AMERICAN IDOL finale vs the DANCING WITH THE STARS finale.  I guess since it's only the performances on IDOL it's not exactly the finales of both.

I totally forgot to point out how wonderful the Olympia Brain's Rod was. The actor did a fantastic job with the role, and I think I may have liked his performance even more then the LA Rod (which is saying a lot, since the LA Rod was really quite wonderful).

Kudos also to the Olympia Brain's Donna. I enjoyed watching her as well. A few times she was a bit too hyperactive, but otherwise I thought she did quite nicely.

And DR George, next time, if there is a next time, that a theatre in your area does THE BRAIN..try out for the part of Private Parts. I just know you could do a great job with that part!

Whooda thunk it when I bought it but we are almost out of room on our 150 gig external hard drive. Much of it comes from Anthony's sound files. He transfers records and tapes to CD and he keeps many of the files for a while in case someone says something is wrong. I'm going to buy another external and we will now each have one. I will take my stuff off one of the hard drives. I don't need a Terabyte (I know you should always buy more than you need but that's excessive) so I will probably get a 320 gig at Best Buy.

I went ahead and took advantage of Jet Blue's $10 ticket sale yesterday, and booked a trip down to Richmond. Since the $10 sale only applied to any remaining seats on flights today and tomorrow, I flew down to Richmond this morning, and I'll be flying back tomorrow night.

So, I hopped on the subway at 5:30, got to JFK at 6:30, and then stood in the security line with a whole bunch of other people who had decided to take advantage of the $10 sale. I don't think I've ever seen the security area in the terminal so packed with people, so busy.  However, they had all of the security stations opened, and the line kept moving and the TSA agents made sure to keep everyone moving.  The flight up was fine, and my parents picked me up at RIC.  And then once I got settled here, I took a nap. And I just woke up from said nap. ;)

Well, we have to make a hospital call this afternoon.  Our DN (dear niece) & Goddaughter Lauren has finished up the college year with a respiratory infection and probable pneumonia.  Some healing vibes would be appreciated!

A very frustrating day so far with good moments: I had to send a fax to a singer on the Herbert songs recording, but for the second time the fax number she provided will not accept a fax; it's on a phone where you can hear the answering machine pickup and speak but then the line is busy and the fax won't go through. Dealing with this for too long this morning screwed up my walk to visit Skip Kennon so I ended up in a taxi on Eighth Avenue that moved about half a block per light change, so the taxi bill for going 14 blocks cost me around $10, which is4-5 too much in my book. The traffic situation in this City is ridiculous. I believe I will die in an ambulance in a traffic jam because this town's a mess and not getting better. Then, I gave the driver the wrong address so that put me off course. My visit wth Skip, however brief, was nice, and I had a good time at City Center with Joshie.
