DR JMK I have NOTHING NOTHING to say about Ms Libby Appel except she she not be allowed near a theater without a ticket....a full price ticket....in the back.
Every place she goes, she sends season tickets subscribers away in droves, alienates volunteers, produces her "NOW" interpretations of Shakespeare which almost always include leather and whips and music by her relatives (music which was submitted under an assumed name with countless other submissions, and chosen as the "best" of the lot by Ms Appel....ALWAYS).....her friends are always hired as well.
There's a reason they're out of work in New York, folks.....they suck at acting.
Libby Appel - run for the hills when you hear the name....IRT lost almost 35% of their season subscription base in the three years she was "Artistic" Director here....and a two volunteer organizations that had been with IRT since its inception in the late 1960's left because of her treatment of them.
She is terrible, untalented, and gives nepotisim a bad name.
Use it if you want to DR JMK....the truth will set you free.
