I heard that they are installing pianos around NYC for the public to use.  Has anyone heard about this?

Ah here it ishttp://www.usatoday.com/travel/destinations/2010-06-19-new-york-city-pianos_N.htm?csp=tf

"Anyone who gets a sudden itch to tickle the ivories will be able to play free public pianos in 50 places throughout New York City, from the Coney Island boardwalk to the Metropolitan Museum."

But any guy who gets a sudden itch to shake the dew from his lily will search in vain for accessible accommodations.

Happy Birthday to Diane, DS (dear sister) of DR TCB!  If I'm doing my math right, she and I were born in the same year - I'll have my "57th" birthday in December.

Thanks, Ginny.

Has there been a major power failure throughout the Western Hemisphere?

I am making another tuna pasta salad this weekend, but I hope it isn't a crime that I am replacing the red onion with vidalia onions.

I got out and planted some flowers I picked up on sale and got them done just before it started raining.  It's supposed to rain off and on for the next few days so hopefully that will give them a good start

Back from various and sundried.  I had poached eggs on toast at Jerry's Deli to kill time this morning.  Then I did a few errands and whatnot, then I went to the lunch meeting, which was very interesting on any number of levels - many things were discussed, lots o' laughs, and a potential upcoming project was also discussed, as well as Shelly Markham's involvement in our upcoming thing.
