I have managed to pump out four reviews today.  That's a lot of writing, ladies and germs.

For anyone who saw and enjoyed MASTER CLASS, or is a fan of "La Divina," there's a most excellent new documentary streeting next week I highly recommend called CALLAS:  ASSOLUTA.

I am trying to see if I can get my required 20 reviews out by July 1, since we leave on our cross country driving trip to Wisconsin on July 2.  I can take my PS3 with me and continue to review while I'm on the road, but I think I'd probably prefer not to.  :)

That means I need to pump out at least 2 a day, preferably 3, between tomorrow and July 1.

Just saw on the Dayton 11pm news that several tall buildings downtown were evacuated.  Richard and I figured that we were driving at the time of the quake and didn't feel anything.

I've done about as much food and other Synod prep as I can do tonight, so I'm going to bed - 'night!

So with that in mind, I'm off to watch ICE ROAD TRUCKERS:  SEASON 3 on BD.  Pray for Rosemary's baby, who is now driving a truck across the frozen tundra.  :)

Oh, and BTW, the second day of blaming JMK has now produced 10 pages.  I think results speak for themselves.  ;)

Seems that the ALW tune for "The Heart is Slow To Learn", "Our Kind of Love" and "Love Never Dies" (all 3 have the same tune)  is VERY reminiscent of the main theme of "The Apartment".

I know that doesn't come as a shock to anyone here.

It's supposed to be unpleasant today with very hot and humid weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be worse with predictions of record temperatures. Of course, we have nothing on Phoenix with temperatures over 100. We will just hit the very high 90s with extreme humidity.

When I came home from work at about 8:00 tonight, my bedroom (with the skylight opened) was about 85° F. :P

It's much cooler, now.

Well, a little while ago, a co-worker called (after going to tonight's library board meeting) and told me that we finally have a new executive director!  I have no idea when he'll start, but this will be a very good thing for Timberland!

I was hungry so I ate one of everything I had in the house, save for the caramels, which I'd already eaten an obscene amount of.  I had one low cal low fat hot dog with red cabbage and cheese, I had a matzo with butter, and I had a tiny amount of sunflower seeds.  Stupid, but I'm not hungry anymore.

Oh, boy.  I woke up with terrible cramping - I'm a bit better at the moment, but send all excellent vibes and xylophones that this isn't another case of food poisoning - I did have mushrooms last night, which I believe was the cause of the last food poisoning I had a couple of months ago.  Or maybe the drumettes, which are very spicy, had a little too much spice.  Hoping it's the latter and that this will subside shortly.

I hope you're feeling better, BK.

DRs, can I please ask you again for more real estate vibes toward selling this damned property in Ohio? I hate to keep bugging Randy about it, and Macbeth and Lady M, as they have done since Feb 2007, will do nothing, although they'll both get burns on their wrists reaching for the check from the buyer as son as it's signed.

I'm in Manhattan so I can do nothing but send property-will-sell vibes and ask you to do the same!

Where is George this evening?

Today, I was at work until about 8:00 pm.  During work, I was working.  I was ordering adult fiction and non-fiction books.  It works and the titles are searchable because they were added before the indexing problem(s) happened, so it went fairly quickly.

And that's where I was.  Now, I'm at home, watching a tape of "Doctor Who" (they're episodes from 1965 and 1988 about the Daleks) that I borrowed from a co-worker.  I've had it for far too long, so I figured that I should watch it and return it.
