There's this tv commercial currently playing for Restasis, to help dry eyes. The actress playing the doctor who uses it herself is so bad, so comatose and unanimated I am amazed that no one yelled at her LIVELIER!, gave her a goose, or replaced her. Oy!

She really stinks.
Maybe she's really a zombie.

If she really stinks maybe she used lots and lots of garlic

We are home from Kenwood Towne Center.  Richard's laptop is 2/3 fixed - they had to order a part for the final 1/3.  I have a new printer/scanner/copier and, because there's a Vera Bradley Signature Store in the same mall, a new tote and accessories.  The tote was 40% off, so my savings almost paid for the glasses case and coin purse that I use as an iPod/earbuds/flash drives case.  We also had dinner at Montgomery Inn.  Delightful Tuesday date!

Paul and I went to Green Gables tonight and split one of their famous hot fudge sundaes.  They give you the hot fudge in a little pitcher so you can pour it on yourself.  They gave us a "Hot fudge laying down" it's in a banana split dish for easier sharing.

Then I stopped at the office to pick up a couple things.   I forget how much  I get done here when no one is around.   Anyway, I had one thing I had to get done this week and I just finished it.   Tomorrow morning I will be at the water tower touching up the past years' murals where the graffiti artists have messed them up and where weather has taken it's toll.   Since Paul is doing a canvas this year, I'll probably be up there by myself.  It's all ground level or small ladder level, no risk.  It will be great to be there by myself.  It's beautiful and calm up there.  I can't wait

TNT is running another 5th Season episode of BONES that I've never seen. Robert Englund is a hoot as the creepy high school custodian.

Hey from Cancun.  Slow day of eating and drinking, clouding (as opposed to sunning which is laying UNDER clouds instead of sun) and burning (yes, both the DP and I got a little red from the clouds).  Ah.... vacation.  Off to a lovely dinner.

Watching a wonderful documentary called "Only When I Dance," which is about two Brazilian youths from the favelas who want to be ballet dancers.

Aaaahhhh, we've turned off the AC, opened the windows, and turned on the fan.  Feels like Michigan...

You have clearly never lived in Middletown, Ohio.

My sentiments exactly. Hot and sticky in the summer, below zero for most of the winter I lived there.

Michigan is the only state I walked Echo in -40 degree temps, with the chill factor.  Winters were cold!  Summers seemed just as hot and muggy as the East Coast.  The only difference was our houses were cooler.  The worst part was the lack of  sunlight most the year.   I knew more people who suffered from GLAD in Michigan than anywhere else.

I just finished watching Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

I really liked the framing story, but amazing as it was, I quickly got bored with all the CGI effects once Alice landed in Wonderland.

I had one of my frozen margaritas tonight. It was very good, but now I am very sleepy.  I may go to bed early.  I've finished all my books and am not angry anymore.  I should sleep well
