Wednesday morning greetings!  I am now officially an aspiring Chautauquan and someone's "protege."  Debra Conner and I had a breakfast meeting that was fruitful for both of us and she gave me a lot of encouragement and good advice.  Now I'm waiting in our hotel lobby for Richard to get back from Loudenville, OH, where he went for a program on the humor of W. C. Fields.  We'll have a little more time in Ashland before Debra's 2pm program, after which we'll head home.

A very happy birthday to my dear friend Laurie Mitchell, the QUEEN OF OUTER SPACE herself...as well as co-star of ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE and MISSLE TO THE MOON!

BK, it is always nice to come across a recent film that is just wonderful to see.

That is one thing that I love about Netflix (and that link that I posted the other day which shows the newly added DVDs). I have found so many wonderful independent films that I would never have known about...American and otherwise.

In fact two of the most fascinating and entertaining films I have watched recently both came from Iran, of all places.

And if you are looking for Gay themed movies (and I know some of you are...Lesbian ones, too, JMK)...well, wow....there are thousands of 'em at Netflix, and from all over the world.

Was there a "Big Brother" episode last night?  If so, I missed it.

Anyone care to share what happened (if there was one)?

ASK BK

Are there any extra booklets for Promises Promises with David Merrick's name on it?

I hadn't even noticed the difference.  Of course, now I HAVE to buy the second edition!

I'm back at my goal of being in shape before I'm 50.  I was really almost there a year ago, but totally let myself go over the fall and winter, so now I've got one year to get there.  I'm hoping to keep walking in the morning.  Now that the basement is cleaned up, I can easily get to the treadmill if the weather is bad.   I'm going to try to start with an easy mile in the morning to get my day started.  That should help.

:)  VIBES YOU SUCCEED!!!

I'm going to have to get up earlier and be out the door by nine if I'm going to jog.  Way too hot out there.
