I like Mary Steenburgen in the aforementioned films as well as in CROSS CREEK.

She was good in "Cross Creek" but miscast, if you want to go by the truth of the matter. Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings was a short, exceedingly round woman who hit the bottle quite a lot. If you ever see her cookbook, "Cross Creek Cookery," with all its lard and carbs, you'll come to realize exactly why she was physically the opposite of tall, slender Mary Steenburgen.

Why Not? I Don't Know! ??????????

It will not be on the Kritzerland Web site until after BK "officially" announces it, probably tomorrow.

Yikes, is it really two weeks since I visited?  Feels like 14 days.

Latest is that the former bosses are trying to keep me from collecting unemployment (odd quirk that they'd have to be out of pocket due to employee-versus-independent-contractor issue that unemployment seems to have sided with me on).

Their lawyers seems to be aware of anything google-able that i do, and  they seem to be coming up with any theories to make me ineligible for Unemployment - since it's coming out of their pocket.

I'm assuming they found who I am on this site because I'd used it while in the office over the years.

Why do I seem to not want to anything productive on the weekends lately ?  I could just sit and watch movies or listed to cd's at that's it.

NEVER TOO LATE is so funny....and I love the movie.....with Mr Paul Ford, although I am less in love with the performance of Miss Maureen O'Sullivan.....Connie Stevens and Jim Hutton.....

And though there is NO star power there - I think Jane Wyatt who plays Grace would have been a dynamite Edith!

Well...it's time to shower, then I'm going to go back to the Capital Lakefair celebration.  Today is the last day and I didn't actually get a chance to go last night before seeing "Othello," so I'm going now.

Have a good day, all!

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We are back from Lima and Rob is back from Michigan (he and Mary Linda attended a wedding reception for friends who were actually married in Mexico).  I need a nap.

If you want to order ROMANTIC COMEDY today, you have to order it from Paypal.  It won't be on Kritzerland until the formal announcement.

I would like to read the Larsson books but I don't read fiction anymore since I started writing it.

Why?

That would be awful to never read another book that was fiction.

Sam, I wasn't there - they'd sent me a call sheet the day before the shoot and I told them no - I needed to a) be asked rather than informed, and b) needed a little more time than twenty-four hours to arrange my schedule.

Had a wonderful lunch with the photographer - she will indeed be doing a new photo shoot with me within the next couple of weeks - very excited about that.
