Yes, the overwhelming consensus, both here and at church this morning, is that we should visit Epcot.  So tomorrow I'm off to AAA to pick up maps and other info.  I'll make our plane and hotel reservations online tomorrow, too.

I'm trying to decide if I'm catching cold or if it's allergies.  I hate feeling like this and there really isn't room on the schedule to feel this way

Oh, I have got this problem as well!
I've found that a hot, really hot, soak in the tub in the early evening/late afternoon followed by a short nap helps.  However, I'm still sneezy every evening, even when out walking with Miss Dixie Bell.
Chai tea before bed helps me to sleep through the night.

DR TCB how do you feel?  I was very relived DR Ginny told you not to have ice cream!

I know Ginny was right, but it still ruined my plans.  The stomach is better today but I ache all over and I keep falling asleep.

Just had a call from a friend from the lakes. I forgot I told him he could camp at my house for RAGBRAI next weekend. LOL, I have no idea who else I said could stay here.  This could be interesting.  He's got a little RV. I think I'll put him in my driveway, the bus in street and the luggage vans in my other little driveway.  I'm going to take Friday off. Since they haven't even started pouring cement or finished the deck, I think I'll still be getting the yard ready.  Plus there is a documentary about RAGBRAI that will be screening on Friday. So I can go participate in the Friday festivities - and the Saturday day festivities.  No one is arriving until 4:00 PM.  should be perfect.

I've been thinking about reading EVERY MAN DIES ALONE.  Has anyone read it?
This is more about the interesting author than the book. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Every-Man-Dies-Alone/Hans-Fallada/e/9781933633633

Fascinating book, DR Jane.

I'm enjoying it very much.  I'm not sure it will be my book discussion pick.  I have a few more books to read first.

and here's a trailer for the doc about RAGBRAI

While browsing the book store today two other books were suggested though they didn't interest me as much as Every Man.  Has anyone read THE MAGICIANS or THE AMERICAN GIRL?

Watching The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest, which, of course, is not the literal translation of the Swedish title - in fact, the only one of the original Swedish titles that has The Girl in it is The Girl Who Played with Fire.

I have no idea how some of those people make it from one side of the state to the other. They literally drink their way across the state for 7 days. Not everyone, but a lot of them.  Their first day is 70 miles.  Not too bad.   Every little town along the route really goes all out and cashes in.  For the overnight towns it's a lot of work and expense, but the people spend lots of money.  In the little towns along the route, every church, scout, or whatever group is out selling food, water etc.... they've cracked down a little on the partying.  When I worked in Milford my office was on the route.  About a block from my office there was a topless volleyball game at 11:00 AM.  It was insanity!

Oh, I think it's more of a "he takes pride in talking his way into staying in people's houses, so don't let him do it" kind of thing.  Makes me wonder if they bet on it
