Very nice photos, Laura.
You have a really excellent camera.  It takes such clear shots.

I just finished watching THE GHOST WRITER.

A little slow for my taste, but it is excellent.

Its steady pace was one of the things I admired most about it.

I'm listening to the soundtrack to The Ghost Writer.  I watched half a motion picture on Blu and Ray but then got distracted with other stuff, so I'll finish it on Saturday.

I am very glad tomorrow is Friday.  My last day of antibiotics.  I'm mostly better, but have had to use the inhaler at night a couple tines lately.  I thought I was going to have to use it a few minutes ago with whatever was being burned outside.  I closed the windows and turned the air conditioning colder so it would filter the air.  It's better in here now, cold, but I love that.

How offal!

I wonder if that's common. I would have thought that people would be outdoors more and do more exercise in the summer.

Not in this climate (heat indexes over 100degress F).

My target heart rate for my cardiac exercising is 95-105.

Yesterday a short half block stroll to the car had my heart rate at 125!

Well, tomorrow I get to meet the other half of our new-found soon-to-be neighbors.

I am a member of SAGLA – an organization of gay Service Academy alumni (and have a profile posted on their web page).

I recently received an Email from a fellow Naval Academy graduate. He, his 16 year old Daughter, and his openly gay Episcopal priest partner have purchased a house locally that they will use for summers and weekends until The Rt Rev can retire from his parish in New Rochelle, New York.

The couple have published one very successful cook book

and have another ready for release:

I am planning on introducing the young lady to the joys of Outlet Malls!

Dear Matthew;

If you're only going to be in LA 4-5 hours (with the traffic) you might only see 2 or 3 spots.  Pink's yes (the best hot dogs ever), Amoeba Music is close by (great for teenagers), the Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax has the Grove on the same location so it's good for all ages (nostalgia for old LA and the Grove for new LA).

I lived on Hollywood Blvd for 4 years (2004-2008) it's changed too much to even be called Hollywood Blvd., but still good for people watching.

There are sooooooooo many places, do you have a year.

Fast.

Tired.

Just watched the fireworks from the Ventura County Fair from my bathroom window.  It's so cloudy only the clouds lit up.  But still fun.

Night all. ;D

Every night at this time, rehearsal from the Rubicon lets out.  I should see what they are rehearsing, lots of singing in the street, very happy people.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.  I think we have a plan.  Now to map it out.  Thank goodness we have a week!
