I went to Costco today at lunch and I bought the 3-disc DVD to "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with Keanu Reeves for only $6.99!  This set has the remake on DVD, a downloadable digital copy of the remake on CD-ROM and the third disc is the original 1951 movie.  That's actually why I bought it.  Costco was also selling the original movie on its own...for $6.99!  I got both versions for the same price as the original.  HOWEVER, when I opened it, parts of the case were broken and the disc for the original movie was scratched. :P So, I'm off to Costco again to return this copy and get a new one...one that isn't damaged.

Until later!

Thanks Ginny & George.  We had plans to take him to the coast on Thursday to play at the beach and stay with friends.  Now it won't happen and the friends are returning to Portland on Saturday.

Yes and no Laura.  It will be ok.  Since it can't be exposed to air we expected to take a long time.  Now it is longer then expected & the reason for the antibiotic.  One spot refuses to heal.

I am now on episode 8 of LOST. Episode 1 was terrific. Episodes 2-7 have been a mixed bag. I am looking forward to the final episode. I bought mine at Best Buy. There is bonus disc. Episode 8 begins with Richard's back story.

Day 2 of trial.  I won't go into details, who knows who could find me here. Anyway, I find by day 2 we fall into a groove of sorts and it's much more comfortable.   Of course the messages are backing up from others, but I'm just going to deal with them later.  Looks like a couple more days before we're done.  I have to admit I do like being in trial.

I've taken a break for the past few hours and watched South Pacific again - it was aired tonight since it was preempted Sunday by the State fair coverage.   I have some things to review for tomorrow.  I think I'm ready but it never hurts to review.

Thanks Sam, yes they are.  I'm really uncomfortable when I don't have something to do.  Well, unless I'm exhaustded then I can sit.  Otherwise, I like to be doing things both at work and at home

Tonight my client told the interpreters that I am more of a sister to him than his sisters have ever been.  I thought that was a nice compliment
