My co-worker Monica has talked me into checking out the TV series ENTOURAGE. I just received the first 4 episodes from the 1st season via Netflix.

I have now watched those 1st 4 episodes.

I am unsure if I am going to like this show.

Robert Mulligan: TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
Alan Berliner: THE SWEETEST SOUND
Hitchcock: THE BIRDS
John Frankenheimer: THE BIRDMAN OF ALCATRAZ
George Cuckor: THE PHILADELPHIA STORY
Stanley Kramer: SHIP OF FOOLS (and props for producing THE 5,000 FINGERS OF DR. T)
Anthony Minghella: TRULY MADLY DEEPLY (probably had more great films in him had he not died prematurely)
William Castle: HOMICIDAL
Hal Ashby: Tie: COMING HOME/HAROLD AND MAUDE
Richard Lester: A HARD DAY'S NIGHT
Robert Redford: QUIZ SHOW (wish he would direct more!)
Robert Altman: POPEYE (I know...I think I'm the only one who likes this film!)
Tim Burton: EDWARD SCISSORHANDS
I love "Popeye." What a great children's movie that adults can enjoy.

Great attitude, CillaLiz. I will have to try to remember to view things in the same way.

Did a mile and a half jog but still feel like I've eaten a house.  I started a motion picture on Blu and Ray, but won't finish it till tomorrow night.  I tried to watch another von Sternberg silent but the blu-ray player was being retarded and wouldn't load it properly - I'll watch it in the bedroom player.

I think the biggest compliment one can pay Cilla is that I think any of us would be thrilled to have her on our side in court.  I know I would.

In the amazing but true department - I was just checking my gmail accounts and they now have a "call phone" feature - you can call anywhere in the US for free (at least for the rest of this year) - you click on "call phone" and it gives you a number pad - you click on the numbers of the phone number you want to call and then it connects you and you talk.  I didn't believe it so I dialed the Kritzerland designer and lo and behold and also behold and lo he answered and I talked to him on the computer.  I'm using this for all long-distance calls, as my cell reception isn't that great.  Best of all, no hands, ma.

Speaking of The Brain From Planet X I submitted it for next year's season at the theatre I work at in Palo Alto.  The theme next year is "Gods and Monsters", so we'll see what the Exe says.  We won't know until April 2011, of course.
