DR JMK, when are you having a housewarming?

And, will Larry Shoop be there?

Just curious.

As far as I know HERE'S WHERE I BELONG never got recorded (I have the demo), and I wouldn't exactly say EAST OF EDEN was a film comedy.  ;)

By The Way It Did: on A Label called PEAR

That's the demo, Arnold.  At least IIRC.  I'm pretty sure it's the one I have.

We'll have a special HHW housewarming/welcome BK party on November 12.  Anyone is welcome to stay here with us overnight so they can attend the show on November 13.  The more hardy of you may need to sleep on the floor.  We have two pull out couches and a couple of other non-pull out couches where people could sleep.

If we have another housewarming, I'm sure Betsy will invite Larry and Rosie, so I'll keep you posted, Mike.

Very good JMK.

I have always wanted to meet Larry, as I thought he was a wonderful newscaster back in the day.

Now that he is no longer a newcaster, I want to hear all the dope on what it was like working at KGW and find out what he really thinks about the news media.

DR Jennifer - As for yesterday's eating portion:

Nova and Cream Cheese on a Bagel with Red Onion, Tomato and Capers
Red Velvet Cake Truffle
Blueberry Cake Doughnut
Quattro Stagioni Pizza
Vongole (Clams) Pizza
Various Antipasti and Formaggio
Gelatl - The Strawberry was AMAZING!
Sorbetti - The Cucumber-Honeydew was even MORE AMAZING!
Spicy Beef Tendon
1000-Year Old Preserved Eggs in Hot Chili Oil
Dan-Dan Noodles
Green Chive Fried Rice
Lamb with Cumin and Szechuan Pepper Corns
Prosecco
Miso-Pickled Vegetables
Panzanella
More Cheese - including a totally decadent Petit Burrata served with Roasted Cherries Tomatoes and Pistachio Cream
Four Desserts
Another bottle of Prosecco

Yeah... I guess it was a good eating - and walking - day. ;)

DR Matthew - Have you already decided how you're going to conduct the title song? Will you do it in "1", or "2+3", "3+2"?  -And then there's that Opening!?!?!?

The label called Pear was a bootleg label - in fact, the fellow who did all those demo things and sound board releases on Pear posts under the name stevenstage on ATC.

It all depends where the groupings are.  Thank fully it's either 2-3. or 3-2   - doing it in 1 might be an option, depending on my players!!!   The opening is broken up into 4-3-4-2  most of the time.  Certainly keeps you on your toes.

OK... Time to get back to Real Life for a couple of hours - and maybe even spend a few hours in Central Park... It's a GORGEOUS day here in NYC!

Laters...

I need to wear my glasses more.  I read DR MBarnum's post as "In prepping for my movie"....

Well, there is that, too.

Only you need a bunch of quarters and a dark viewing booth to watch it. And maybe a raincoat.

MR BK has given us MORE than enough clues for the release he is talking about - but I still can't figure it out.....maybe when I get home, I can think it about it more.

I think it's HENRY SWEET HENRY.

Having confirmed in person that my guess is/was correct, I might add that anyone (ANYONE?  ;D) who reads my posts would have gleaned a rather major clue from a comment of mine when BK first started talking about this project.

Speaking of HENRY SWEET HENRY, I may be having dinner with Alice Playten tomorrow night.

Aww, TCB. I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, Laura.

I am not sure where this flu-like crap came from, but everyone on the second floor of our office building has had it in the last week.
