Well, you've read the notes, the notes were short, sweet and contained thoughts of coming home, and now it is time for you post until the cows come home.  Maybe they'll be there when I get there.

For some reason, yesterday's "New" button must have taken me to page 2, thus I had missed the pics that were posted.

We went to a restaurant last night and had perhaps the most ghastly service (if you can call it that--close to 2 hours to have dinner) we had ever had.  The food was great, the waiter was simply brain dead.  I emailed the restaurant and to their credit the owner himself apologized profusely, is sending me a gift certificate, and promises top flight service next time.

No oatmeal since it's only 9:39pm on Saturday night.

We just watched another disc of Jeeves and Wooster and we shall go to bed soon.

I'm going to the BCEFA Flea Market tomorrow morning.

Night all.

I see the original release of this Complete Works of Bach is available at Amazon for a mere $1,800.00.  The new release is considerably less than that, though still pricey.

Good for the restaurant.  Where did you go?

Hello, everyone.

I've been listening to BILLY BARNES' LA. I'm so glad to have this. LA IS was used by a friend during a Bluth Brothers Theatre audition many moons ago. I've always liked it. In fact, I mentioned it to BK when we reconnected several years ago. He recalled the song, of course.

Wow! It's Sunday already.

DR Jose, I am suspecting that the singer is having what I'll call lesbophobia but since it's something for her to work out internally and I neither want to see her flip out nor let her marriage fall apart, I am respecting her wishes. She's a wonderful lady and a phenomonal singer and I want her to be happy. The musical director said she got very emphatic about singing it.

The song's been reassigned and I've redone the schedule so Steven can sing it on January 5 with his other lieder.  All is good.

Until the next crisis.

I am heating up a tv dinner and then I will finish watching HOLD THAT LINE, a 1952 Bowery Boys movie.

I have never been a great fan of the Bowery Boys, but on occasion they will make me chuckle. I watching this one maily because John Bromfield is starring in it as a college football hero. He's dreamy!

Every so often that "New" button skips pages for me.  I'm not quite sure what the issue is.

Had a fun evening. I went to an art walk and ended up buying a huge cat head sculpture.  At the moment I don't really know what I was thinking.  It's pretty cool, but there are so many other things I could have spent the money on.  I may go out tomorrow and take a picture of it.  It's going to be on display until the end of October.  Haven't decided if it will be an inside or outside sculpture.

There's a little male cat who rode on the engine of a truck from Beresford SD to Sioux City before he was discovered.  He's 16 weeks old and the person who has him now really wants me to adopt him.  Boy, I'm not sure what i want to do.  They said I can try it for awhile and if it doesnt' work they'll take him back.  I guess he's a real lover and has the loudest purr. I just don't know if it would be worth upsetting the apple cart
