DR JMK, according to our DS Craig...

"As for the Lisanatti, though it is marketed as "non-dairy" it is able to melt and more closely resemble cheese because it contains casein, which is a binding agent that is extracted from milk. So, really, it isn't at all vegan."

Except that I'm not vegan.  :)  I just don't want the cholesterol or fat.

I know but you said it was vegan & might be serving it that way. :)

Back from a lovelier than lovely visit with Sue, an invigorating CR session, and a H-U-G-E grocery shopping.

I am back from the last recording session for this round. We begin again on Oct 19. It all went much better than expected, and our tenor, who had me worried and fraught yesterday, nailed everything in the original tenor keys. I couldn't be more pleased for him and for us. Our producer was so happy that she paid him for both the baritone and tenor recordings of "Molly."

Daniel Marcus came back and recorded his final tracks so we had a lot of laughs in the morning and a lot of patriotic or weepy songs for the afternoon.

Tonight, I'm chilling out and going to bed early. Tomorrow I have the McGlinnventory all morning and a trip to the NYU Dental Clinic at 2 pm.

I have not seen THE CYCLOPS in many years. I do love that Gloria Talbott, a very underrated actress.

My day started with computer problems. Yesterday, while I was online at another site, something did a variation of "poof!" and the site disappeared, along with Safari. I fiddled around and somehow brought Safari back. I didn't know what I was doing--I just lucked out. I shut down the computer last night as usual. This morning when I booted up, no Safari. I called Apple Care and learned what to do, so now all is well--I think. I should take some time to learn more about Macs. I bought my MacBook to get me through my move and my gypsy period (until I get settled), but there has been so much to do that I really haven't had time to just play with it. I think my MacBook is telling me we need to get better acquainted.

The luscious chocolate cake Betsy made yesterday has been whispering my name all day from the refrigerator.  Will I be able to resist until after dinner?  ;)

I really find it most unseemly to still be on Page 3, especially on my natal day.

Therefore I will engage in a mini-frenzy.  I just did a review of COSI FAN TUTTE, in modern dress and without disguises for the men.  Odd, but well sung.

Tonight we have SURVIVOR.

I did not care for who they voted off last week. These people are stupid!

They have two alpha males who each believe "he" should be the leader.  With Johnson there, neither could command the respect they wanted to demand.

Time for the kids to get home and for me to get some MIDI-fying done for one of my choirs.
