Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And it's Wednesday.

But I'm guessing you already knew that.

Given the Dumbing Down Of America, I suppose some people actually make no connection between this current weather situation and sinilar events occurring about every 365 days.

I pretty much have everything done that needs to be done decorating-wise around the house, so I think I will venture out into the mysteriously cold weather and do some Christmas shopping.  Whether I wind up shopping for gifts or for myself is unknowable at this point.

Even though I prefer to check my phone for phone numbers (or hit redial) I still like to know people's numbers by heart.  I think you should obviously keep important numbers in more than one place in case you lose your phone! Glad the helper was alright.

DR MBARNUM - did you get your birthday package?

DR JRand, a package arrived for me, but is locked up in the mailroom. The one thing about my apartment complex is that I can only retrieve my packages when the manager is around...and that is from 8am to 5pm. She is usually not in her office by the time I arrive home :(

I always seem to find more stuff for me than for others when I shop. Very dangerous. Somehow I manage to get presents for everyone, but I end up with more stuff for me. I guess I just shop at stores I like.

Happy Birthday, Bruce.  I'm sure you'll look quite fetching in your leopard spotted dickie and smoling (yes, smoling) jacket at your partay.

What if it is perishable?  Do you have a neighbor who can collect the packages for you?
