Welcome home, DR Ron Pulliam - how was your trip?

Funny you should ask, DR Ginny.  Kindly see my post at the bottom of page 2!  :)

DR Ron Pulliam, do you take speed? Perhaps you should think about it for your next bout of airport transit.

Has anybody here seen the series Pillars of Earth?  It is starting here next week. And I think I've heard good things about it but not sure if it would be for me.
Saw it a few weeks ago on DVD. It's historically a bit of a mishmash, there are lazy CGI effects and quite a bit of violence and gore with only a little sex. And I couldn't stop watching it. Saw all 8 hours or so in a day.

Do any of you read the comic strip 9 Chickweed Lane? The author's doing a hilarious story line about gaydar.

Home from our trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.  It was nice to have a little time away, but I did find myself missing the DP and the DD's quite a lot.  A lot of fun and laughter was had, which was very important.

Now to try and catch up

We watched it.  I think you might like it, give it a try and stop watching if you don't.  Keith liked it more than I did.  The building of the church is interesting.

DR Ron I'm exhausted reading about your last two days. ;D

I've made those runs through the airports, mostly in San Francisco.  A few times I've been the last person on the plane and once the door closed just as I ran up.  Once those door close there is no opening them again.

I'm back from the doctor and all is well in Chelsea, NY. I can eat real food again. I had a banana and we will have turkey and a salad and a baked potato for dinner. We will also go out for New Year's Eve dinner tomorrow.

I see the doctor again on January 7th to go over my blood work and my colonoscopy from last year and we will also set a date for the appendectomy, probably in February.

That's it for now.

Good news. That food is going to taste mighty good, I imagine.

Regarding BK's notes:  I think one of the exciting parts of finally reading, "THERE'S MEL..." was that every day you kept us up to date while you were writing the book.  Even so, I had no idea how terrific that book would turn out to be.  Bruce, you deserve every bit of praise that you receive for 'THERE'S MEL......"

But I still need to get my copy signed!

Yes, I am actually at home today, and not at work.  I woke up at about 2:00 a.m and I was volently ill.  After about an hour in the bathroom and cleaning up the bed and bedroom; I called in sick and went to sleep.

From what I had read on the internets, I guess I expected to watch that Kennedy Center clip and see Sutton Foster pull out a knife and stab somebody.

It might have helped.
