Claw Clipping makes Merlin the Magickal Kat nervous as well.

I have been invited to a party tonight. I wonder if The Native Plant Society has wild parties?

You can be sure of it.

Joshie and Rex do not play together. At all. And Sasha (who is quite elderly) sits on the couch all day.

In other news, Callie seems to really have improved.  She's now in the middle of the muddle with the other two.  They play and stalk each other. I have to get used to some of it, I keep thinking they are doing something other than playing.  Boo is so vocal about it.  But if I shoo Rick or Callie away, she gets made at me

Toby and Sheena get a bit rough with each other too.  I've seen a few boo boos on each of their ears.  Yet, you've seen the pictures I've posted of them laying with each other.

When I think things are getting out of hand I tell them to knock it off but who know what happens while I'm at work.

They are less likely to fight when you aren't around, no competition for your attention.

Just read the last few pages from yesterday's posts.  BK referred to his Jeepers Creepers CD.  Love it!  I think The Faithful Heart by Rebecca Luker is my favorite--just great!

It has been a long day and it's far from over. I helped a friend with a really bad knee get to a doctor's appointment. She went in for knee replacement surgery a few years back. They botched the operation and she came down with a hideous staff infection. Twenty-seven surgeries later (you read that right), she has been OK, if not anywhere near normal. Today at the doctor's office, she learned that the infection may have returned. Judy's really scared that they many have to amputate.

We left the doctor's office and I made her try to forget it. We stopped at a roadside BBQ truck for some pulled pork slicers, then went to a pasta place where she had a spaghetti and meatballs (the comfort food she was craving) while I had an excellent Reuben in honor of today's TOD. Afterwards, we went to a third place for cake and pie and more forgetfulness.

Judy could use a few more vibes and prayers. I'm taking her an expert on Thursday for the next round of guess work on what to do.

Vibes for Judy!

Our snow storm forgot to show up.  And it was supposed to turn to rain by midnight, so I don't expect to see a single flake.  So much for the storm of the century.

I drive.  There are many times I need to drive to jails etc and need a car during the day

I thought you mentioned you might need to take the bus if there was too much snow.  I'm glad you could drive.

You asked if I usually drive or take the bus.  Usually I drive, but i've always known that if I absolutely had to get downtown and the busses are running I can take a bus if I'm not comfortable driving.

I asked "Did you take the bus", which is my mind was asking if you needed to take the bus due to too much snow. ;D  I tend to leave out key words when I'm talking.

I thought there was a post yesterday where you asked if I usually take the bus, I may have misread it.

I know many of my neighbors.  Some by first and last name, some I couldn't tell you their names if I could win a million dollars - even some that I see regularly.

Cilla, I believe that Jane was asking about the bus in response to this post of yours on Sunday evening (Post 109):

Quote
If I can't get out tomorrow, I can trudge through the snow two blocks and catch the bus.  I've never had to do that, but it may be worth it if it means I can get to the office
